I have bought 2 subvod Mega TC starter kits, I have 3mg juice in it because they say you get more vape with lower nicotine when using TC T or F? Secondly I have the ni coil in there I think they say .15 but I can't every get barely any vape!!!! It taste great but I want to see it come out lol I have the airflow opened all the way...please someone tell me what I'm doing wrong. The same thing happens with the regular subvod i just don't get it. I don't want to give up on but man this is getting very frustrating.

Are you running your coil in Temp. Control mode?

You should only use Nickel coils in TC mode. NOT wattage mode.

Most of what you mentioned sounds fine - the .15 coil, the airflow open, and great taste means you're probably not "burning" from not getting the coil wet.
SOOOOO - maybe try the other setting?
It's just got 2 settings: Temp or Power. Click 3x to switch and then the fire button will change color.

Unfortunately it's a very simple device - can't change temp or power, but most people find it works pretty well.

The only other thing I can think of would be a coil that's NOT really what you think it is, or that has a bad connection - if all else fails you might need to try another coil...

edit - Oops, post above is right - Ni should be Temp mode only...

Did you prime the coil well?

Priming a Coil

To prime the coil, drop 5-8 drops of juice right inside the coil (sometimes less/more depending on the size of the coil head), another drop of juice in all the holes on the side of the coil. I watch the cotton absorb the e-liquid and when it can't hold any more, I put the coil in the base.

• If Bottom Filling - Fill the tank and then screw the base back onto the tank.
• If Top Filling (some tanks are top filled) - Screw the tank on the base and then top fill it.

Once you put the tank on the battery give it several unpowered primer puffs. This will make sure the wick is fully saturated.

Tough to cloudchase on a starter kit, but you could try a higher VG (vegetable glycerin) content in your juice. 70VG/30 seems to be about right for tank users.

But if it tastes great, and no vape comes out, then you have the ultimate stealth vape!

I smoke 100vg ,sometimes I add a few drops of 50/50 to my 100 vg

A. Set the SUBVOD Mega in step 2B above.
B. Remove the tank and press the button, LED will flash Green in 3 times.
C. Screw the tank on and press the button, this time the button will flash Green 1 time.


If you are doing this^^^^ you are correct.

ed. And yeah, do Not put that tank on the regular subvod (or any non TC battery) if there is a ni200 coil in it. Cheers.

I want to see the vapor lol like my t3s and evods I vape on with my mini arc. Ugh sometimes it can be frustrating. Vaping for 4 years and I'm trying to try other devices because I do notice the taste in the glass tanks taste better then in plastic old school cleromizers. I don't know I guess just keep trying.

I think anyone just starting out should not start with ni. Should just strictly stick with kanthal and wattage or voltage. Temp control IMO should be for experienced vapers. There are so many things to learn. This is a great place for info and help. Also you can get some great instructional videos on YouTube.

Oh Ok... I have been turning it on then pressing it 3times and the fire button turns green.

I digress, set the temp to where you want it and vape. This device in particular is plug and play, minimal set up. Great for newbs. imo. Cheers.

Not a newbie, just trying out new things, yes I watch the you tube videos. I'm not real big on a strong throat hit I just like it smooth and to see the cloud lol

Welcome to ECF.

NI and TI coils should ONLY BE USED IN TEMP CONTROL. NEVER in wattage mode.

Stainless Steel can be used in either mode.
