I started my niece and her husband with regular LR attys at first, but I had really forgotten what being a COMPLETE newbie was like. They sorta "got" it, but didn't know what to do when they needed to troubleshoot. Didn't even know enough to blow out the atty, daub out the drip cup and start over if it was flooded. So....the second day, I took a box of BOGE 2.0 cartos up.....and they were both much happier. I think we forget sometimes that we "fiddle" as much as we really do....or "know" as much as we really know. Things that have become intuitive to me at this point are just hassles to them. I didn't want to give them ANY reason to not do this. The cartos are much better to start with. Also, I had some 15 mg. juice around here, already steeped, that I took up. The next week I got to thinking back to MY beginning, then I made up some 18mg juice.....that worked better for them. I think I'll even make up a couple bottles of 24mg juice for them to use when they think they might need it....or just to try.
It's really hard to try to remember back to the very beginning. I would NOT (in my case, anyway) introduce them to the RM2 yet. I showed them my VV Grand with an RM2 and just LOOKING at it was (I could tell) a little overwhelming to them. We grew into our present vape equipment/nic levels....they need to do the growing, too.
If they were newbies here on this forum asking, then we'd suggest getting all this good stuff because we know that if they have trouble, they're right here and we all just talk 'em through it. But my niece and nephew have a special needs child, two jobs, a household and two acres to run, and DON'T hang on e-cig forums. Their only resource is me. They don't want a hobby; they want to quit smoking.
Didn't mean to write a book.
Short answer: cartos and 18mg juice.
