That's the same thing - screwing it won't adjust it, only pulling it up or getting the spacer others were talking about. This is a known issue with Vamos, and sometime getting a replacement helps.

The center pin/screw sinks down when heads are screwed on too tight and then don't make good contact.

However, when you get it adjusted right, people seem to like the Vamos.

Low V = battery is not charged
Ohms reading 0.0 = either no atomzier/head or short in the coil

Have you charged the battery? They usually come only partly charged. If you have, and the battery is in positive side up, and you're still getting "Low V" then there's something else wrong, and I would get in touch with the vendor.

OP said he got the Vamo from a friend, so it looks like he has to make this own repair. I agree with the post being pushed in. I have 3 and it never happened to me because I don't screw my heads on with a vise as some people do, but yes, it sounds like the post isn't making contact with the nautilus. :) My :2c:

Hi, IMRs! Yes, you are right, the friend might have had the Vamo for a while, and the vendor route might not be possible. I was thinking more along the possibility that the Friend bought it for FullonEDM as a holiday present.
Since he is new to everything, I'm sure his local vendor will help him out just fine (if the vendor wants any new business).

Thanks guys!

And the Vamo was brand new, wrapped up in the cellophane packaging. The battery was not brand new however. Unfortunately the vendor is his dad as he runs an online smoking store :L so I cant really send it back to him aha.
Fullon, Try throwing a new battery in it, but always use IMR Batteries.
