Your tank is dead. You can go back and get a new coil for it and all should be well. They do die at some point. Once a new coil has been screwed in just screw it lightly on the vamo. It sounds as though the coil has a short since the ohms kept changing. Never turn the thing in the bottom of the tank. It looks like a flathead screw but its not

Just to try to help with the jargon:

Atomizer (or atomiser) is, strictly speaking, the item inside of your Nautilus, so you are technically correct in that :)

However, when talking vaping, some people call the whole head (your Nautilus) an atomizer. It's not technically correct, but that's the way the jargon is sometimes used. it's just kind of a short-hand way of referring to your "head" whether it be a Nautilus or another kind of head.

So, depending on the conversation, an "atomizer" could mean the coil assembly that you replace within your Nautilus, or the whole Nautilus itself.

We know it can be confusing, but you'll get the hang of the lingo. :)

No the head was brand new I believe.

Would I need to buy a whole new head? or just replace the atomizer in it? - Also, where can I purchase Atomisers? and which ones do I need :p

I feel like I should pay you guys for this service :p also should I make my mate purchase the new head considering it was a Christmas present ;) ha
Your vape store should have them (ask for "BVC coils), unless you can wait and buy them online. I can give you a couple of online stores if needed.

Is this the Atomiser/coil?

I did a look online and my one is the only one i've seen with a point bit each end, if that makes sense x'D

Looks to me like it's definitely shot. I've never seen that piece of metal that looks somewhat like a screw hanging out on the right end of it. I guess this is what you tried to turn. (I have yet to open one up).

Yeah.. It didn't go in the same way it was.. Like its now poking out a bit... But you can push it down like a loading spring. E.G. A ballpoint pen ;)

And now it works on the e-cig ^^ but still no luck on the Vamo....

HOWEVER.

When I press any button on it, it comes up with Low V... When I then press the fire button 5 times to turn it off... it just keeps saying System: On. So my guess is, he gave me an uncharged battery as I know he has quite a few batteries. And it's now so drained after it says "System: On" it turns straight back off.

That is exactly what happened with the ProVari battery. Without a meter there is no way of knowing how low the batt is, but it is below the 3.2 (probably below 3). If the voltage falls too low, only one of the better chargers will bring it back. My nitecore was only barely able to bring back my aw imr, after several failed attempts, and the battery was damaged. It is considerably weaker than it used to be.
Glad you got something vaping. Still puzzled as how our expert at the store had the exact condition on his Vamo. Merry Christmas :)

He didn't get the Low V error, but he definitely got the Check Atty and Low Load.

But after reading up about it early, it looks like these errors are due to the adjustment screw. Check atty was because the screw was too tight down and not making sufficient contact with the atty and Low Load was the screw being too loose and the atty pushing down on it, shorting it all.

I feel like i've learnt a hell of a lot from today x'D.
