Hi everyone. I know there has already been a plethora of "What do you think?" posts, but I'm really at a precipice when it comes to finding the right liquid. If I had a bottomless wallet, I could order one of everything from every supplier, but.. ..la, la, la.

What I'm asking of you is to give me your honest opinion based on a few specifications I'll provide. I know I'm opening this thread up to both suppliers and fanbois that will say, "Go HERE!" even if HERE is not genuinely my best option, but I'll try to filter through that afterwards.

Okay. First up, I've been vaping for several months. My hardware varies but I tend to use the 901 and 510 the most. I vape at 3.7v (cough*3.1v*cough) with standard attys. I've tried many different liquids but only like a handful. Most likely, this is because most of the liquids I've tried weren't very good but I would have liked them if they were made right. What do I mean by made right?

Here's what I would like my liquid to have:

1. Accurate flavor. This seems to be my biggest problem. I order menthol, it tastes like perfume. I order apple, it tastes like perfume. I hate perfume!!! I know PG has a flavor but either the intended flavor is either too weak or the flavor being used is way off. I also get flavors that just freak me out. I order caramel, it tastes like coconut. I received a bottle that was suppose to be vanilla, but every other vanilla I've ordered had a reddish tint. This liquid was yellowish and tasted somewhere between almond, tobacco, and old shoe. Why can't I just get the flavor I'm ordering? Sheesh!

2. Strong flavor. Specifically, if I'm using "Black Tea" then I want it to taste like strong black tea. The flavor should be strong enough to mask the inherent flavor of PG.

3. Consistent flavor. If I order a bottle of liquid today and like it, then I want to be able to order that same flavor 2 months from now and have it taste exactly the same.

4. In Stock. I know we're living in a struggling economy but it is really disheartening to see "Out of Stock" everywhere I go.

Accurate, strong, consistent, and in stock. Am I shooting for the moon here?

What am I vaping right now? I generally like to have 5 to 6 fully assembled e-cigs at my desk and I switched between them throughout the day. It depends on my whim at any particular moment over which one I'll take a pull from. Here's what I'm loaded up with as I type this...

1. Green Tea and Black Tea - even mix
2. Straight Black Tea
3. Banana, Caramel, and Vanilla - Mostly Banana with a drop of Caramel and Vanilla
4. Pineapple, Caramel, and Vanilla - Mostly Pineapple with a drop of Caramel and Vanilla
5. Straight Vanilla - Two different Vanilla liquids from different sources.
6. RY-4 and Clove - Two different RY-4 (one is more pipe flavored, the other is cigar flavored) and a drop or two of clove.

Why all the vanilla? I like vanilla, but it also helps cut some of the flavors and evens them out. If the flavors were accurate then I probably wouldn't need the vanilla with some flavors.

There are flavors I would like to use, but the ones I've tried were dismal, such as: Coffee, Chocolate, Apple, Orange, Pear, Strawberry, Grape.

There's been one flavor I haven't focused on yet and it is the most important to me and the one I've had the most problem with. MENTHOL! I just want menthol. It doesn't have to be mixed with a tobacco flavor. I can do that as needed. I just want a cool menthol flavor without perfume or whatever.

Here is the flavors I want the most:

- Menthol
- Black Tea
- Green Tea
- Tobacco (I want a good RY-4 but I also want one that just tastes like good old fashioned tobacco)
- Decent fruit flavors (Apple, Orange, Pear, Peach, etc.)
- Flavors to cut with other flavors (Vanilla, Caramel, etc.)

So.. ..what do you think? I want accurate, strong, consistent, and always available for purchase. Is there one single place that will make me happy?

In the words of The Smiths, "Please, please, please, let me get what I want."

One place? In my very very humble opinion? Not that I know of. I'm still learning too, though. So, maybe I missed them?

I had to learn to mix my own earl gray style black tea. V4l sits on that funny perfume-y PG base. I plan on mixing all of my tea based flavors in the future as I was happy with the result. I've bought from multiple vendors. And honestly? There are a LOT of good ones. But one that's 100% good 100% of the time. Nope.

I'm still a fan of Tasty Vapor and Ms. T. I'm also slowly being won over to DIY Flavor shack (double flavor is nice). I'm not linking, I'm sure someone else will or that you can find them with a fair amount of ease if you're at all interested.

Feel free to PM me with questions. I'll do my best to help, but this is still a pretty new game.

DIYFlavorshack Ive found good, tasty and strong flavored, and TV as well (ditto on strong, accurate) - in fact those are my 'main' 2 suppliers of juice now - with addiitions from cignot and vapor station. TV do my fave choc but I always vape it 'with' other flavors, in premade juices. TV also do a nice tobacco (its made from steeped tobacco leaves) and DIYFS have one of my fave RY4 blends (and VS have another they call VS4 lol)
Pretty sure TV don't do a green or black tea, DIYFS its possible, she expands her flavors often, VS might do they carry some more exotic flavors.

Its so subjective, it really is a minefield - the only way to try is either use PiF or the TV flavor exchange/swaps thing or just buy a few each month and sell what you dont like.

I have found that not only are there a lot of good juice suppiers out there, but they can vary in flavor from order to order. Also from size to size of bottle ordered. Or it could be my taste buds vary. I don't really know.:(

I thought that I had found my be all and end all to my vanilla quest. But needless to say when I ordered 2 more bottles of the same flavor it was not the same. In fact it tastes totally yuck to me this time. I can't even tell what flavor it is. All I know is its different, and maybe I will get used to it and maybe I won't. E-juice to me is like playing poker. Sometimes you get a good hand and sometimes you don't.

So if you do happen to find the answer to this question please let me know, because I would like to get what I want too. The answer has been evading me for a long time.

I have been at this for over 8 months and still have not gotten the juice. I thought a number of times I got the "this is it" e-juice but 2nd or 3rd order didn't like it anymore.

But then again I think of my favorate deserts I make and they don't always come out the same either. Maybe its kinda the same thing. I think personally that after making my own juices that even a minor variation can change the whole thing.

I wish you luck and like I said let me know if you find the "this is it" juice.

Ms ts or Tasty vapor. Not sure if they have tea though. Ms t just put up a menthol, just plain menthol nothing else in it.
Tasty vapor carries a menthol tobacco too.
Both have the strong flavor and no purfume smell or taste to them ( I hate that too)
and both are consistent from batch to batch as far as I have gotten anyway.

Have made several orders from TV, never tried any of the flavors you mentioned, but I will say that as to flavor being spot on, TV gets my coin.

Their flavor is the same from order to order, most likely due to each order being made fresh at time of receipt of the order, which is a good thing to my way of thinking. Consistency & Accuracy of flavors is the Tasty Vapor way.

TV also allows Custom Blending, so even if you may not see your desired flavor, you very well may be able to recreate it, using the custom blend ordering.

It sounds as if you're already doing DIY juice, if not, you might want to consider it. Yeah, might be more hassle than you want to put up with, but you'll have control. There's lots of info here on making your own juice, and several vendors supply FlavourArt flavorings. I don't DIY, except for a bit of jazzing up my pre-mix stuff, but I think the process is essentially:

Pick up some high-nic unflavored VG (or a VG/PG blend).
Pick up some VG and or PG.
Pick up some flavors
Mix 'em up.

I vape 50/50 PG/VG, and I don't notice any of the perfume flavor, but then I use pretty strong tobacco flavors. I also don't know for sure that it's the PG that accounts for it. If you use the search box that's at the very bottom of the site, you'll find some threads discussing that perfume flavor.

And, at the risk of being labelled a vendor fanboi, I'll let you know that you can buy FlavourArt flavorings from FreedomSmokeUSA -- they're getting good reviews for customer service, and I do personally vouch for them. You can order PG/VG from a lot of the ECF registered suppliers, or get it at Walgreens, Wal-Mart or other stores. There's a forum policy against vendors advertising juice with a nic strength greater than 36mg, but it's out there to buy if you want to go that route. Be sure to read all the cautions about handling nicotine.

Another thing you might try is ordering your pre-mix juice just like normal, but getting some flavorings to goose it some. Again, sounds like maybe you're already doing that?

Good luck in your search. Unfortunately, it might take some more trial and error. From what I've read on the forum, FlavourArt flavorings are good stuff.

ETA: More fanboi! :D Here's a menthol review.
