Not getting on with this spring loaded bottom spring firing mod, it's my first mech mod and finding it a little awkward. So I'm after a side top button like the Poldaic or Roller. I have 18650 and 18500 batteries, don't want any box suggestions I have my eye on few of those for a different reason. I just want a simple easy to use workday mod so hard wearing and reliable. I heard of mods that slide and ones that you pull the top down on but with greasy hands that may be a problem.
So what's the best button/switch mod out there?

Love my Atmizoo Roller! The side button is a dream to use. Yes, juice can get down into the switch but it's easy enough to take apart and clean, Atmizoo has a video on how to do it. If you order one though.. I'd suggest getting a few extra of those tiny "switch balls" because that's they're easy to lose while taking the switch apart.

The electric angel is nice also.. I had one but sold it and now that I don't use genesis attys anymore, kinda wish I hadn't.

This is a Roller I sold a while back.. the one I kept has a polished inner tube and polished easy turn switch.

The electric angel is super simple... no complicated parts and very easy to clean and maintain. At least the one I had was. The reason I sold it was, I was using genesis attys with mesh at the time and..well.. you have to keep the wick down towards you as you vape and it wasn't very comfortable..but if you use a non positional atty, then that shouldn't be an issue.

Not sure how many more are out there other that what has been mentioned. How about the Electric Angel? I have one and love it.

And the Fallen Angel, (the EA clone) from EHpro! LiteCigUSA has them for $40, and it's a great mod.

And there was me thinking the Reo was a box :) I will have to take it out of my box list now.

Well of course it is. But if you want something that:

I just want a simple easy to use workday mod so hard wearing and reliable.

it meets all your criteria, plus the added convenience of a feed system in a work environment, so why dismiss it?

I have to say though... you spoke of greasy hands... neither the Roller or EA would do well in a work/greasy hands environment. But a REO would

Actually I think the Angels might do alright. The top and bottom edges are sharp, not rounded, which lets you hang on to it really well. If you telescope it at all, either 18350+Kick, 18490, 18500 (with or without Kick), or fully 18650, it would give you yet another "grabbing" place, with defined edges that would be easy for greasy hands to hold onto. And it disassembles completely and very easily, for cleaning. However, the button, while on the side, is at the bottom, and I do find that a bit awkward, but maybe that's just because I'm so used to my regulated mods, where the button is fairly close to the top, or at least in the middle. I can see that the Roller could be hard to hold with greasy hands, it's so smooth and rounded, but the button is in a more natural position. Also the Poldiak, and those are some very nice mods, but maybe too smooth for greasy hands?

I have owned several side button mechs my favorites have all been listed Roller, Lab, Guppy, Poldiac, EA.

I still own a Poldiac but none of the others. It hits well, it works every single time I hit the button, without fail. It takes a while before I have to clean the button assembly. (I work in an industrial environment) It is very versatile in the build types/vape styles I can enjoy on it

Just me though
