4nine with flat top or button top

so i read somewhere that the 4nine should be used with a button top and that a flat top can cause serious shorting issues. is this a fact? and is there a mech mod forum that i am not seeing? i have a lot to talk about with mech mods but havent found a forum for mechs on ECF

Mechs are usually discussed in the APV discussions section of the forum ... It is true that nipple tops are recommended by the creator of the 4nine mod, so I would adhere to those recommendations if you are using the 4nine
