Pls help with using ultra mod !

I have fallow the instructions from the website and various tips around here but i cant seem to make it work properly i can take a few puff wich assume are good because i dont get that cold burn feel on my throat for 3-5 puff but after that is my throat getting burned ! the RES have liquid on it because when i take it out it clearly shows but only way i can get a few drags is by dripping 2-4 drops on the atty after that it seems the juice on the res is not going into the atty , when i take it apart i can see liquid all over the atomizer ( joye lr) and also some liquid in the ring part below res. These is a great unit im sure of that but just need a little help to get me going (im sure the person that sold it to me gave up on it but i dont plan to !)

I have heard people say to boil the ceramic part of the res for 5 mins let it dry and try again

I saw something about it too Brian but i think it was related to another issue either way hoping for more suggestions or some from innovapor can help out even though i didnt purchase directly from they it will be nice

When i get the time will try the method of boiling the RES

Hi, I'm sure innovapor will chime in here soon enough. Ok, here is what to do. drip like 5 drops of juice into your atomizer, then blow on it (you are essentially blowing it into the RES).........then drip another 5 drops & do the same thing. Usually about 3 times is good and if you over do it with the juice you will see juice coming out of the side holes (just wipe it off with a tissue or something, no big deal)...........you should be good for at least 10 good long hits by doing what I told you. I use 90 or 100% VG juice though & it probably wicks alot better than PG. I also use the ultramax I should mention. I'll agree with anyone that there is a learning curve with this mod, but once you get the hang of it..you will never want to part with it. I've bought & sold alot of mods in my time & the ultramax is one that I will NOT part with. I think that the RES is a genius idea, & love it! I should also mention that I use a 17650 battery in the ultramax. I don't stack for 6V. Sorry for the late reply. bmwjen has good advice. I do exactly what she described as far as filling up the RES. Just keep putting in drops until you get some to leak out of the top air holes on the outside of the RES. Make sure you remember how many you can fit so you can fill it up next time without having it leak out of the holes. Another thing about the RES is it takes it a while to get warmed up, meaning you need a good 3-4 mls of liquid to go through it before the pores start working correctly. Also, the less you clean the RES the better it will work. Kind of like a car engine. The longer you let the engine run the better it will perform. If you are constantly starting and stopping it, it never gets to warm up and fully run properly. Same with the RES. You need to let it stay soaked for a while to get it to work at top performance. Hope this makes sense. If you have any other questions please let me know.

TmeisT , today was a GOOD day , most of the time i was vaping with no problem and to my surprise a overfilled the rest and juice was coming out of the top holes like you described (i though i damaged it lol) but .......mit it was working like had never done ! i was getting constant hits and i can see these is the cleanest vape i have had since i started , i didnt even care about getting juice in my mouth a couple of times hahaha i can say these was my first time running into that but it was worth it

yes all is working good and im sure will be better in the near future but now i have another question (you guys tire of it lol) the thing is yesterday and today i was filling directly the RES and everything is good only that i see the atomizer with juice , i blow it a bit so it goes back to the res etc , im using a standart resistence atomizer and was wondering if thats the problem ? Ive never used any other kind so cant test.

What are you vaping at? If you are vaping at 3.7v you should only be using a LR atty. If you are vaping at 6v you can use a SR atty, but they will get super hot. So basically at 3.7v I would only use a LR atty, and at 6v I would only use a HR atty.

Upss that means i should be using lr atty but and im allready in stock with sr lol

I would highly suggest getting a LR atty. You will get a 100 times better performance out of it. And a lot longer life out of it as well.

Final question !! I noticed that the the threads that attach the RES are very grinding also the one that threads on with swtich , besides the juice odor cause of the leaking i think it found hes way into the thread and i can also see it (dirty looking liquid) was wondering if i can clean the unit with alcohol ? Or what recomendation you guys have ? I also want to clean the drip tip cause it have some juice odor

Today a boiled the Res along with the base and switch unit , everything got cleaned and dont grind wil threading but lol now is not stiff
