Howdy,

That would depend a whole lot on what ohm reading you are shooting for!

More info will get you some helpful answers!

so far I've kept in the .2-.4 range so anywhere in there. I'm not looking to go crazy low. just looking for ideas on new builds to try out for fun. I have 26 and 28 g kanthal coming this week.

Have you run parallel coils yet? (wrap two strands per coil)

They allow you to use much more wire to achieve the same resistance.

Here's the data for a setup with dual 26s using Nichrome 80
Coil wrapping | Steam Engine | free vaping calculators

Try 'em..you may like 'em :)

I have ran a single parallel not dual. I was looking at rip trippers 4 strand parallel coil. As much as I would like to mess around with the nichrome and titanium, I don't feel like im there yet hahaha. I've seen some pretty crazy builds from ppl that look way to complicated.

Since you're using a regulated mod, try using twisted 28ga. It's easy to do, take one long strand of kanthal, fold it in half, and use a drill motor with a hex key in the chuck to hold the looped end and a pliers to hold the two loose ends. Pull tight and pull the trigger. When the wire breaks at the hex key side, you're done.

I use dual coils with twisted 28ga on my Plume, each is 8 wraps around a 2mm bit. I run it at 65 watts, and the quality of the vape is amazing.

I'll definitely give that a try thanks
