Plume Veil and Kanthal questions

im going to get the plume veil clone for my mvp 2.0 i plan on building on it and all that good stuff? will it work on it? i know some 510 pins on rdas arent adjustable so i was wondering if it will work with it. also what gauge kanthal should i use to build non sub ohm builds that will work on the mvp? thanks

Simple to extreme.

• Use a jeweler's screwdriver to gently "lift" the 510 contact up. A temporary fix.
• If your atty 510 pin is adjustable, adjust it.
• Most aggressive and permanent. File, grind or otherwise machine down the 510 ground collar - .005"-.010" at a time - which in turn "raises" the 510 positive pin. You may have to machine the beauty ring as well.

28 gauge/8 wrap or 27 gauge/10 wrap - either on 2mm mandrel = 1.2Ω. The lowest you can go and still have full current (3a) parity with resistance.

Okay so I wouldnt grind anything down, but, if you are building on an MVP, grab some 30 AWG, so that you have room to play, and grab I 1/16th inch sized jig to wrap it around. Your jig can be anything from a tire pump needle to a drill bit. 30 AWG is very pliable so be careful with it. Grab some organic cotton or high quality silica, because IMO, silica is a bit sketchy, being fiberglass and all. Hope this helped
