Plume Veil

Hello I have got a new Plume Veil but when I build it the ohm reader says .08ohms. Even if I do not have any coils on it it still says the same thing I have 28g Kanthal. With a 2mm screw driver with like 12 wraps dual coil. Any help on why I cant get the ohms to go up would be great thank you

When you take off the plume veil, does it still have a reading? Do you have any other atomizer to test the meter with?

If the ohm meter reads fine, there might be an internal short on/in the deck of the plume veil. Is the insulator between the positive block and the deck intact?

Yea the reader works fine.Yea I see a white thing around the bottom the the postive block. I just took it out for the box and it does not work

I will try washing it to see if that does anything maybe there is loose metal inside

Also there is no reading when I take it off it zeros out

im not saying that this is your problem but you have to really be careful with some of they plumeveils with the center post moving up and down which could give inaccurate reading and also if you use them on something that has a hybrid adapter for your atty they will short out your battery

I have a Plume Veil Clone and a a friend has a legit one. we both had this problem. have you tried taking the center post out? My positive contact on the bottom of my rda had a small burr that made a short directly to the negative 510. If you hold the positive block still with fingers (pliers may scratch the finish if you care) and unscrew the positive 510 connection with a #2 screwdriver, the pin pulls out and you can see if the insulator is broken, molded crooked, or if there is a foreign object.
