ive never tried the real one, but the authentic is very, very good

the atty looked much nicer than I anticipated. was fairly easy to clean in my ultra sonic cleaner. The o rings fit fantastic. I don't remember every having a dripper that was this nice to take the cap on/off.

the drip tip is hard to get in and is a tad wobbly, but it's not going to come out. only fault I can find with this

The main thing that concerns me is the delrin part, in the top cap, that's adjustable. If they can get that right, with the clone, you may be right. Trevor just told me he's going to be doing a side by side with the authentic and the clone. I'm going to see what he has to say.

I own the Acerig Plume Veil clone and seeing it next to the authentic... couldn't not tell a difference! Minus tiny variations in the etching/engraving. Physically/build quality.... it looks to be, yet again another perfect 1:1 clone. Magma clone levels of good here.

@Snow Blind

Would you say the build quality of the Acerig Plume Veil Clone is just a good as the Authentic Aethertech? I'm not to concerned about the engravings, just the actual milling, drilling and materials used for the rda?

I'm hoping this Clone will hold me over until I can get my hands on the real deal. ;)

Thanks,

Robert aka Mrengles

I've been paying attention to snow blind and a couple others that can compare the two.. I haven't heard or read of the clones being any different than the authentic, other than the differences in logo engraving..

I'm very excited to get mine..I think I'll be able to get the 1.5 when it comes out. I always try to support innovation, and I'm sure I'll be blown away by the performance and package with the clone.

Got mines today. Was not impressed with the 2 middle post screws. They don't tightened down all the way to capture the kanthal. I had to grab some spare Stillare screws that are a little bigger to thread in nicely.

Built a .30 dual coil with Rayon wick. Opened everything fully and it hits. Nice airy draws. Probably need more tweaking around till I get it right.

I would be interested in getting a Plume Veil in black if the threads were not painted. If anyone knows of one, please let me know. I have a Magma (in black) and love it due to the air flow, flavor, and capacity, but I had to wire wheel the threads since the shell would get about 500 degrees when vaping and did not hit that hard when I first got it (arcing through the threads). Once I stripped the paint off the threads it worked great, but it took a long time to strip, and once I was finished it had decreased the diameter of the threads enough that it will not tighten completely in my HCigar Nemesis.

have both. plume veil blows better clouds and has little to no juice capacity. Magma has amazing flavor and amazing juice capacity... I literally find myself taking hit after hit because I want to change flavors and it takes forever to dry it out!!!! Best vaping device ever MAGMA seeing is believing son getchaselfone

Anybody find the size for the center and the side posts? Trying to help a friend. I'm still waiting on mine

FYI... I talked to Acerig and they said the next batches will be sent out with the correct screws

Someone in another thread said they used M2.5 x 3 set screws... however i'm trying to find a local place that sells them so i can bring mine and see what fits best. I've been wrapping round the head of the center screws because of the problem. If you hear from Acerig on sizing... please post up!

Just got an email about an infinite plume veil so could be an SXK one on the way. From the product reviews I saw tobeco ones are better as the acerig have screw issues - but personally I don't know

Apparently that was a first batch issue, some sites have specifically mentioned in their descriptions for the acerig that the screw problem has been fixed for the newest batches.
