what is everyones favorite build for VP and flavor on your plume veil? I still havent found a build i am thrilled with.
mine is similar to jaxgators
5/6 wrap with 24g A1 about 1mm off the deck rim and 2mm back from the afc (centered).
That seems to be my sweet spot. I'm starting to really like the PV.

Ive tried 3 builds on the PV so far. the first being the best which is similar to the one JAX posted and prob similar to reefs build as well. dual coil 5 wrap 24 gauge .4ohms with rayon wicked like jax, i didnt center this build. the other 2 i didnt like which was a parallel 24 gauge 4 wrap (8total) centered rayon wick .35 ohms very hot vape and guzzled juice like no tomorrow. the last was similar to the 1st but centered with the wicks coming out of each side of the coil then tucked underneath the coil. I seem to get a funky taste with that wicking method .

only thing I don't care for on my acerig PV is the adjustable threaded delrin in the top cap. Mine was extremely loose so I used a thin strip of teflon tape around the threads and it helped but too much and it gets in the way of the air holes in the cap and defeats the purpose. Oh well! It's a clone!!!!
My Acerig PV came pretty badly, the screws that it came with didn't fit and one of the negative posts holes were punched out so high that theres no threading to catch a screw. I'm running it single coil .6 ohm on my Cana and it's decent but tends to leak from the bottom airholes.

These also have the updated screws..so says the vendor. Who responded lightning fast to two separate messages... I asked if they will be getting black-with logos. They said they are trying, but based on his response, Acerig is working around the clock to keep up with the demand..so unsure of when blacks will be available through this vendor.. I have a habit of sticking with the same vendors on ebay..if possible, so I'll probably wait.
The only black+logo versions I've found are by tobeco..never again!
I just got a black one clones by STX (maker of infinite?) and it's seriously flawless. Nicest clone I've ever used.

Do the top air holes actually do anything? I've read they're adjustable.
I suppose the three holes for each negative post airflow is for when you're not doing a center build?
First atty I've had since lung hitting where stock airflow is large enough for all my builds...or wattage setting now.

I don't get the gold plated deck.
This is the easiest dripper to build with...and the picture I'm posting, I used a crappy torx tool, got hung up at the end and warped. I took it off to fix it... most of my other atomizers, that would be an issue.
Well...I guess the helios and several others have a positive dual/t-post...but first time with one after the typical layout is a dream.
This is my recovered coil & first build. I'm going to get some wire and get a horizontal carto-type coil in it.
Edit-took forever...I had 3 different types of screws in the bag.. I guess it saves a ton of time in labor not installing them. Flavor is super bright.. I'm still preferring my origen with 1/8" airholes.. but only cuz the capacity sucks with the plume veil.. I wouldn't use a different atty than this for bottom feeding though..

is that .26 ohms or 26 ga?? and if its .26 ohms, yes, popping is normal at that low of an ohm rating...

I got the clone with the gold deck, and idk if its just me or what but it seems to be turning my cotton or rayon orange. Its not the juice bc ive used the juice in plenty of other drippers and ive never had it turn colors like that. Its 100%vg clear juice and the clone i have is the Acerig. Does anybody else have this problem??

Vivis smoke sent me the correct screws that fit in the center posts in a seperate order. But now i got this issue with the deck or something turning my wicks orange. See the post above this one..
