Pocket clip for Ego/Evod/Mini Protank

After dropping my egos a few times (fortunately nothing broke), I looked around for a pocket clip and the best one I found happened to be the one I removed from my Streamlight pen light. It's well made and fits perfectly on the ego battery or on the non-tapered part of a tank of the same diameter. Available in black only. This is the clip that comes with the Streamlight Stylus Pro and MicroStream models.

I saw that they're available seperately for $2 at Southwest Public Safety - [url]www.swps.com[/URL] and I plan to order a few. There are also some clips on ebay, but they don't look as well made. If anyone has seen a better alternative, please mention it.

I was digging thru a drawer the other day & came across an old eyeglasses case, the kind that clips to your pocket or belt. Works perfectly! I LOVE repurposing.

I Google searched for this clip and could not find just the clip but then I clicked on image search and found this web site that sells the clips on the first listing. Shipping isn't pretty though unless you spend $50+ May as well buy the flashlight and an extra clip.

If you google "streamlight 660024" a lot of vendors come up. But yeah, with shipping, it's not worth it if you're just buying a clip or two. I try to find something else (batteries, etc.) I need and combine shipping. I might try ordering from Streamlight directly - lots of times the mfgs will send out small parts like this without reaming the customer on shipping.

These are great pen lights to have around. If you buy the microstream (pocket-sized, about 4" long), you probably won't need the clip anyway and could use it on your ego. If you buy the larger Stylus Pro, however, you'll probably want to leave the clip on it, so the extra clip is a good idea.

Another option is to buy a tailcap, which comes with the clip, for $5. Optics Planet has free shipping on orders over $30:
