Pocket clip

Just thought I'd share a quick tip with anyone interested, I personally don't care for lanyards that most vendors sell and prefer a pen style pocket clip when on the go.

Did a lot of searching and while they may be out there, I never did find anyone who makes a snap on clip for 808's.

Not to worry though I stumbled across a near perfect solution, the "Faultless pencil clip" meant to go on a pencil obviously but if you bend it open just a tiny bit they fit snugly on an 808 and keep em from falling down in your pocket and making you go fish every time you want a hit.

Just have to be careful that you test it on a dead carto before using it on your battery, they are tight right out of the package and will tear the stickers or maybe even scratch the battery if not adjusted enough.

I got mine from Arbolistradingco.com but if you google Faultless pencil clip you can find several vendors selling them.

smoktek sells an 808 auto with a pen and a stylus attached to the battery. I've been thinking of picking one up for when I'm lounging around on my tablet.

I found that the clip from my mini streamlight flashlight fits on my x2 I believe it's a 88032 the AA battery version.

Yes, brilliant! I have been looking for this in office supply stores for years. You ask someone in the the store for a clip for a pencil and you feel as though you've just disembarked from an alien ship. Duh, didn't really occur to me to look online. I used to use these kind of things as a kid. it was way more common back then. I would now like something less conventional though, one that would fit mods and some of the larger batteries. Like what ‘justmike’ said, “…the kind that fit flashlights”. I have a sweet clip that goes on my Nitecore MH2A. It’s made and came with the light, and fits real tight and works great. It would be nice to clip any of my PV’s in my pocket to keep it secure and from sliding cross way in my pocket. Thanks for reminding me of this. I will post if I do find anything useful. Someone should start a side business making these.
