Polishing the Nimbus V3 cap

Anyone here able to polish their Nimbus cap without removing the etched logo?

I havent polished a Nimbus but I have polished things with etched logos or what not, as long as your not using sand paper and sticking to actual polishes, you wont really remove the logo if it is deeply etched but you may remove the black color from it.

Just peeked at the etching under a microscope and its mechanically etched, not chemically. Should be a lot more durable to polishing. Thanks!
