Because I drive truck I have many PVs ready to go at any time. I have 2 Odys, 1 Penelope, 1 IAtty, 1 DID genesis.
I try each one to confirm that its set up right before driving, and use all of them during my day. The GG's are always my favorites, starting with the iAtty. My least favorite is the genesis. It takes more time to set-up, ohms and air flow aren't adjustable. But it's a change of pace so it's in the batch of ready to go atomizers, but its not my go-to.
The Achilles fills the space in my UFS which has been empty for a long time.

I have seen some videos with mesh atomizers and in theory I have eliminate all the problems they have gd. Mine is just perfect but the most of the times theory is far away from the reality. But not always lol. We just need a sample first
mesh style atomizer is what i wld like to see first... lets get perfection on this style of vaping also from gg..

Thanks fright:)
Not going to vote because I don't know which I would rather see. On the one hand I would love to see a rubuildable for my UFS. On the other I have always wanted to try a mesh style atomizer. Whichever route you go imeo I will back you up :D

I will stop on the fact that some people say that GG is outdated. Maybe thats why the whole world is making GG copies? I dont know who says that really but I agree that it is ana. Still noone made something better than GGTS that was made 3 years ago and noone made something better than the Ody multiatomizer. Also noone made an atomizer with Iatty taste. So yes, GG is out of its date, maybe some years ahead as always GG was every single time.
And if anyone says that I am trying to make money from mesh style atomizers, I have to say that when I see what other people are making and I can make it 10 times better then I just have to do it.
As for the fact that I am coping someone, I have to laugh a little. Always the opposite is happening

These people when they see an identical GG copy they say that its a different construction when its obvious that its like a GG. But if I try to use mesh in a totally different way than the others, I am a copier. Ok, thats fine. At least now you can recognize those people and understand their motives
I dont think that its a fair assumption. Im not putting genesis down, nor saying that its better or less than the traditional GG style. Its just another choice. Its a totally different experience and taste , not of taste as in style or looks, its in the way the juice chemically reacts to the stainless steel mesh compared to a well prepared silica. I have tried a couple of the best Genesis, built to the same specs as the Ody silica, same juice same watts, same voltage etc, I even stepped down the nic. It was just different. My NET tobaccos changed completely, they lost something or gained. I did notice that some of the fruits did get more intense, but more vapour and more intensity just didnt make it better for Me

There are others that have the best Genesis atomizers out there, and like me just didnt like it better. I tried the DID, I tried a Zen and another newer Genesis that the person who owns the best says its just as good or better and I just did not like it. They were prepared for me by experienced genesis users, with immaculate wicks and wraps, they were " artistically" and technically prepared. There were no hots spots, etc. I did not think it was awful or bad tasting, just not my preference.

I guess what Im trying to say is that there has to be choices and there will always be the battle of silica vs ss mesh and now the ceramic porous wick( its a hard pumice solid looking piece of stone like wick) Technology constantly changes, and there will always be the "new" best thing.

Some might say Imeo is giving in to the mesh craze, or that he is trying to "cash" in on the Genesis train. Some say GG is a system that is outdated. Some might even say that Imeo is "copying" someone else's idea, but Imeo is making something that his customers want. Genesis made right, without the little handicaps that learning to set up a Genesis brings. Imeo will perfect and change it and make it GG.

Okay this has become an essay, sorry for the length , its just a compilation of the thoughts that go thru my head when I hear the constant back and forth on what is the best, etc.

Thanks, and let Imeo make every Vapor satisfied.

if you were to make the mesh atty i would certainly give it a shot. only because im sure that its gonna be nothing like the mesh attys we have now though :D

but i would still prefer to get achilles for my new and absolutely perfect and wonderful ufs v2 :)

As you said My dear Tomhh, I prefer the Achilles because I have too the UFS and as you I liked very much and I am hoping that qith the Achilles it will be AWESOME, so thanks for the Achilles vote.

On the other hand I has tried use the many genesys atomizer, but i didn´t like the metal taste of the mesh.

But at the end I will love what ever you do Imeo, thanks for all your effort

Cheers

My major gripes with genesis are:

1 Having to tilt the pv on its side while vaping
2 Leaking when placed on side. I use pipes mostly so yes, it will need to sit on its side.
3 Hotspots causing occasional fiddling.
4 Top caps like the Zen that pop off when pressed to the side. Or caps like the original AC9 where it slides off too easy (has been fixed).
5 Inconsistent wicking. Sometimes my gennies need to be sideways to wick enough and sometimes if they are sideways they wick too much. So I find myself playing with the angle a lot. If Im kicked all the way back in my chair I tilt too much. Annoying.

Guys, to be a little more clear. Forget the mesh style atomizers that you already know with their problems. We are talking here about a totally new construction. If you like mesh better then you will have a wonderful mesh. If you prefere wick then you already have Ody and Ithaka. Achilles is a different story because its thin and goes just everywhere. So what you have to vote is if you want something that goes everywhere (Achilles) or a mesh atomizer without the problems that you are facing right now and in a quality that you havent seen before

all those will be solved if my design work as I want dir. Thats why I said that the vote is between a different made mesh and and atomizer that fits everywhere, that is Achilles

Sorry Imeo, I thought you were also still looking for information from folks on our issues with mesh, plus of course voting between the two candidates to choose which will come along first. Im down for either to come first, but Im super excited for your new mesh design to come along. Im sure it will be stellar.

of course I want you to tell me about mesh issues dir. Thats one more reason for this thread. I will solve what ever problems you can describe me. But I also want to know what do you want me to make first keeping in mind those 2 things: An atomizer that goes everywhere or a mesh style without problems :)

Mesh on my orion only gives wicking problem when my juice is too thin , I vote mesh because nothing tastes as clean as mesh and I hate 510 connections and if you can make a easy mesh atomizer that has no leaking problems that should equate to the perfect vape
