Marineland Rite-size U aquarium filter foam. You can get it at pet supply stores, ebay, and even some less likely sources. I find it between $4.15 and $7.99 a bag which is three "filters". Just one out of the bag could make a TON of carts.

Still trying to figure out how long exactly to wash this stuff off though, still has a smell to it.

cool il try wallyworld and post a price, guess i shoulda read a little there was a blue foam mod post right above mine lol as for the smell does it transfer to taste of the vape?

I'm having a hard time discerning that at the moment. I'm testing out a few things but I'm only 14 days off traditional cigarettes. I just got my FSUSA order earlier so I'm trying out RY4, and I think its a bit complicated for my current tastes (but very good).

It's hard to rate what I've already been using, menthol always tastes like menthol. I also had Atomic Cinnicide but thats another one that will drowned out any taste of impurity. I don't taste foam that I can tell though, just the juice.

I use the Strictly E Juice ones when I'm too lazy to mess with my more DIY fillers. They work well, are easy to use but, when you wash them, as is suggested, you need a knee high nylon stocking or a mesh bag with small holes to put them all in or the end up down the drain of your sink so, that dose make washing a bit of a hassle but not bad.

Bearrp3, I have tried to find these at Wa-Mart but they didn't have the Marineland brand. All they carry at my store is the Aqua Tech brand. I tried that but it is more like the original fluval, cept its blue, and doesn't work as well as the original.

I'm gonna try a pet store today. Hopefully Pestmart has the right one.

Was that a Freudian slip? I meant Petsmart.

I can tell you for sure the flavor isn't disturbed by the foam now. I'm using a really light favor I would definitely notice a difference. My taste buds are still too jacked up to test on stuff like RY4, its too complicated of a flavor.

I didn't wash with soap, I just rinsed it like crazy with really hot water. I'm sure soap would be better but I was in a hurry. The wedge shaped plugs are working really good for me right now.

When I used to use the blue foam I would cut off a little piece to use, and just rinse it really well under hot tap water, squeezing it a whole bunch of times while holding it under the running water.

A lot of people like to put the entire thing in the dishwasher, which seems like an excellent idea but I'd be worried about soap residue and would probably want to rinse it again afterwards just in case. But then again, I guess that is what the final rinse cycle is for, so probably not needed.
