You can purchase a little bag sample of blue foam from strictlyejuice.com for $.75. Just throw it in with your juice order. Comes in little squares and you just cut in half and it slides right in.

I have used it and I have to say, in my humble opinion, it is neither better or worse than the other methods. I didn't find that it held more juice which is what you're looking for. You don't have to worry about loose threads all over and in your atty. You can just wash and reuse several times.

But, I didn't like it because I got a burnt smell, taste after awhile.

You can also try fluval from the petstore.

Fluval polyester pad, Hagen Petsmart or
Marineland, size U Petco

The best method for me has been to reuse the stuff that comes in the prefills, you know, "marlb high, etc." I just use until they are too wet, then rinse, dry, dry and use again.

good luck friend

Hey guys,

Well, I've been reading here and there about some of you using blue foam in your carts. Does it work any better than the poly fill?
I find that I am very frequently topping off my carts. They just don't seem to hold the flavor of the juice that I'm using. Blue foam better?

Thanks.

Which brand/model of ecig do you use, and which flavor? My couple dollar carts hold up to 30 drops before refilling.

I finally got my blue foam in the mail today. I got the Marineland Bonded Foam Sleeve for H.O.T Magnum. Rite Size U shape. I only bought one sleeve instead of the 3 pack just to try it out in case I didn;t like it I would not be stuck with so much. Got it through Amazon here:
Amazon.com: Foam Sleeve for H.O.T. Magnum Canister Filter - 1 pk: Kitchen & Dining

I also got the foam that is even less dense for thicker liquids:
Amazon.com: Foam Insert for Aqua Clear 30 and 150 - 3 pk: Kitchen & Dining

I have not tried the latter yet, but the blue foam is working perfectly for me. Just make sure you rinse them out before use to avoid any weird tastes. They are perfectly safe to use. Cut them thinner at the bottom of the cart and thicker at the top for a good seal. Like a V shape. I tried the ADM before this using the stock filler as a plug but it sucked, lots of leaking. I plan to try the dart method as opposed to the standard plug using the blue foam for ADM and see how that goes. All in all, the blue foam is a great filler. Wicks good, consistent vapor, no topping off constantly.. no topping off at all really as I just use a syringe to fill from the bottom again when it starts to get low (less vapor, but before the burnt taste.

edit: I have no desire to buy the little pr-cut ones from an ejuice site for 75 cents because to me that is a ripoff considering how much you can get from buying the sleeves yourself. But I guess for those who have a problem cutting it is a viable option.

Strange as it is the exact same material just not in the U shape. Same company , same bonded filter pads just not as a sleeve. I also cut it to length so it does not compress too much. Maybe the thickness is more on the ones you are using. The sleeve has the perfect thickness for the 510, but too thin for the 801 though you can double it if needed. filling from the bottom up with a syringe also gets rid of the air pockets instead of trying to just soak it in from the top.

I did not like the Rite-Size U Blue Foam at all. Found it to work fine then stop completely like it was empty with like 12 of 16 drops still stuck inside.

I am using Marineland Bonded Filter Pads at PETCO instead and find it very good as long as I cut it so it doesn't compress the material much when inserting it.
