Yes, you need specific kinds. The generic $1 a huge bag stuff you find at Wallyworld to stuff pillows with burns off toxic fumes.

Some of the suppliers here sell the stuff, or you can go to a pet store and get the Fluval (the exact description has escaped me atm, but it says something about "polishing pads" on the box), or the blue foam stuff.

Ok I've never used a cartomizer. Why would you add polyfill to one? They last a while and die, disposable. Are you talking about a cart?

nope, talking about a cartomizer. I'm looking at ways to cut down on the amount I have to refill cartos. I was thinking if I put more batting in, it would hold more juice and take longer to run dry.
