I have an RSST with a cotton wick and 30awg kanthal a1 wire. The problem I'm having is that I cannot get a decent flavor production out of it. I drilled the airhole out to 1/16th of an inch, and placed cotton into the chamber to reduce it. when I lift the cap off, i noticed that it had much better flavor. Any suggestions from more seasoned/veteran vapers?

I have been using an RSST for months now, and when I got it I experienced a big improvement in flavor over my AGA-T2, but then I built mine straight genny, and not with cotton. I also used 28 kanthal, later moving to 26. It might be that what you need is a dripper, instead of trying to build a genny as something it's not.

Fusions mods sells a chamber reducer for the RSST that works pretty well.

That being said, have you tried building it with mesh or cable as it was intended? 3mm SS cable sleeved with mesh for the coil works fantastic. The RSST is easy to build in proper genesis style due to it's insulated wick hole and plastic (or pyrex) tank.
