The FDA just published a new study of e-cigarettes: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...igarette-s-cartridges-trehy-et-al-2011-a.html
Did they select popular brands for their testing? I had never heard of CIXI before and when I looked them up I realized that this was the company that they sent a warning letter to for marketing cartridges containing rimonibant (weight loss drug, not approved in the US) and ...... (erectile dysfunction drug).
Only the Chinese would think that consumers would flock to buy carts with "bonus" drugs. Gee, why not put a lot of booze into the carts? Then I can get drunk without having to drink. And if I have a headache, I can just vape an Excedrin cart.
I did notice that all 4 companies they selected were ones that had received some type of warning letter from FDA or were plaintiffs in the law suit against the FDA. Smoking Everywhere (SE) and njoy were the brands of two companies that sued the FDA. SE dropped out of the law suit because they had no money left to pay their attorneys and njoy went on to win the case.
