Now im sure their are alot of people out their that do not have a bounty of batts at their disposal, and when when ur up sh** creek without a batt and you wish you did, their is a pretty cool alternative.
If you dont have a PCC, a portable charger would be supurb...right?
Ada Fruit Industries sells a $20 portable power kit with a USB connection encased in an Altoids case here. I have had one of these things for about 2 years and it has saved me countless of times from dead battery treachery.
The best part is that it runs on AA's (sold everywhere) and it can charge your phone and ipod too!
Has anyone else used something like this and what are your thoughts??

). the PCB is pretty small so soldering can be a little tricky for newbies. To be sure that it closes properly make sure that you cut down far enough to fit the usb port. The first one i built wouldn't close all of the way so i used a dremel to help the usb port fit better.
