Hello All!

I was wondering if anyone had simply used a portable USB charger (like a duracell or a tekkeon or whatever) and just plugged in a pass through to vape?

I know people build mods out of the tekkeon, but let's say I just wanted to throw an un-modded USB charger in my coat pocket, and thread a pass through up my sleeve and use it like that, any thoughts?

Also, anyone used anything other than the tekkeon? Thoughts on that?

Thanks everyone!

There was a bit of discussion about this in another thread in the modder's forum: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/battery-mods/130018-look-what-i-just-found.html

The main concern when using a USB battery charger is the Amp output of the device. Most are only rated for .5 amps out and a USB PT needs a minimum of 1.2 amps out to function properly. Theoretically, if you could find a USB battery that had the proper output, I don't see why it couldn't work.

This is my understanding of it at least. I thought the same thing as you, but was corrected in the other thread.

Does the Tekkeon USB charger already output 1.2 amps? Or is it specifically modded to do so?
