That was my original idea... to share here and have other modders build their own.
:glug:
Thanks for the find Parky.... and I did just that! Wouldn't dream of selling it. Now working on my 5th unit (gave the first 3 away to the "needy" - keeping the 4th for my very own. All adjustable. Pretty sweet unit (and find) :toast:

How come nobody has put an atty connector and switch on a usb plug(male) that would plug into this without cutting it open? I might have to try to make something :D

Sounds like a good idea!

This unit could be used to power a pass through and make it mobile. Your idea is like a pass through w/o the cable. I like it! Let us know if you try it.

I'm still trying to get my Trekk to operate on one battery so I can add a juicer but no luck so far......

Thanks Jim! I was just thinking. If we made an atty connector with a small switch and usb plug. It could be plugged into any of these 5v power sources that are readily available for sale and use them without even modding them. The trick will be making the the assembly small enough to not look stupid, lol.

Edit: You could always stick a juicemate from super T on your tekk, lol.

I tried that at as well.... The USB provides 5 volts output but does not have enough amperage to fire an atomizer properly. You could always go inside and hot wire the USB connector from the batteries and have a USB/Atty connector. I would not recommend this as sure enough someday... somebody would hook that puppy up to your $300.00 smart phone and fry it.

I tapped into the regulated 5V at the USB connector output on the inside of the unit as per jolly's vid and it fires my 901 atty fine. I had the meter on it and it went from like 5.3v idle to 5.1v under load with a full charge. Maybe they've changed the circuit board or something and that's why I can't remove a battery but can use the 5v output.

warbdan... If I can't remove one battery to fit a juicer I'll prolly try and find another housing the will fit everything. I could just hang the pump on the side but I'd rather have it internal.
