Possible ego battery going bad?

Got my Ego last week and everything was great. This weekend I had one of my batteries on the charger for over 2 hrs and the charging light never changed to green. Left it on the changer a while longer, checked to make sure it was tight and waited. After waiting, I took it off and tried the battery, the e-cig seemed to work ok. I next put my second battery on the charger and every thing worked as it should. Put the 1st battery back on and waited another couple of hours, the light stayed red. So I'm thinking I should get a new battery. And yes, the button light flashed 3 times when I plugged the charger in, so it should have had a good connection.
Any thing else I should try?

I had one act up once (though I can't recall if it flashed three times)...but my situation was the light was green from the get go. I knew it should be red...on a fluke I clicked the button on the batt and it changed to red and started charging properly. Maybe something to try.

is that battery still working?

Get a multimeter and test it

The button is working ok, using it right now. I think it charged ok, but it could be a sign that something it is not quite right. Since I just got it, I would like to replace it before something else happens. Just want to make sure there is't something I can do to fix it before send it back.
