Ok So I have had my JS for about a week now. I have been noticing over the last few days that the vapor is getting lighter. No lung hit like I used to get from it when I first got it. Also, this is the real concern for me, when I pull the carts off I notice that the batting is a medium to dark brown at the tip and the taste is off as well. I can wash it out and its snowy white again. Seems like the atty is charing the juice which is reverse wicking back into the cart. Any ideas on this? Surely my atty isn't crapping out already, but i could be wrong.

They do burn out. As for discoloration, that can be from the heat, but also any un-vaporized or condensed liquid in the base of the atty will impede vapor.
Take it out and blow it out from the back, hard, a few times to get rid of any excess in there, it will also be very dark from heating over and over.
AND: You could try a new atty, see if it helps. Hope you have a couple extras on hand for emergencies!!
EDIT: I forgot to ask what cart you're using, the 801 or something else?
