Hi all I am new here and would like to introduce myself.

I actually joined sometime back posted maybe once or so and then never actually purchased an E-Cig.

I am 26 and i was a smoker from about 14 yrs old up to 24.

THATS RIGHT, I DONT ACTUALLY SMOKE CIGS. I used other means to quit but I do enjoy a good pipe.

My goal is acutally to just quit tobacco altogether.

I enjoy the effects of nicotine and i am very intrigued by e-cigs.

I was looking at the Janty eGo as my main means for vaping and I will browse the forums for tips and so on as far as modding and dripping or carting go.

Is the eGo a good start or are their others. The fact it looks nothing like a cig is fine by me, i dont smoke em'

Welcome! I love my eGo, I wish I had gotten one first. Greenhouseone.com has a great deal going, and they warranty for a full year, even the attys. My buddy just got his from them, very nice.

The eGo is a great place to start. The eGo used 510 atomizers, and 510 atties are well-loved. The eGo resolves the one major pitfall of the standard 510 model - the battery life. Most people get 5-10 hours out of an eGo battery, depending on how they vape.

I had a good experience buying from ElectroNicStix, who sells the Joye eGo kit. I've also heard great things about CigNot as a vendor (I don't use the 510, so I haven't bought from them personally).

I'd recommend you get the kit, maybe an extra battery, a couple spare atomizers, extra carts, and a couple small bottles of juice at different nicotine strengths to see what works for you.

You can also check out the Hello 016, battery lasts a lot longer...it comes with some funky atomizers but you can just buy the battery from madvapes.com and then buy a couple a regular 510 atomizers or catomizers and a charger.

As a cigar enthusiast (now retired) the only way to get that "pipe/cigar feeling" will be to go to at minimum an eGoMega system- or a mod.

Here's a video review I did of the eGoMega Cartridge and Atomizer. You should also look into mods that are higher voltage, or use low resistance atomizers.

Having been a hardcore tobacco user, the only thing that satisfies when I get that cigar urge is something *hardcore*.
