Hey guys, I've been reading a lot on these forums and have some first-hand experience with ecigs. I started with V2 rechargable cartridges, upgraded to something similar to an eGo, and most recently have had the iTaste VV

Long story short, I don't have the iTaste VV anymore and need to buy something new. Overall, I did like the iTaste VV, which I bought at my local smoke shop, but I'd like to look at other options like maybe some type of mod. Any suggestions? I'm still not sure how I feel about the size of some of these mods, but am open to them. The good thing about the iTaste VV is that it's not too big, has pretty good battery life, and gives good vapor. It just seems to be made pretty cheaply. My local smoke shop also sells the iTaste SVD and iTaste MVP V2. I'm leaning towards ordering online since there are so many more options

Anyway, thanks for your time and any and all suggestions are welcomed!!

I would recommend the MVP 2. I got one, and liked it so much, I ordered another one for my back up. They are very popular with lots of folks here at ECF. The battery life is amazing, and lasts for 2 days without recharging. Here is a link:

Hello :) There are a ton of mods out there. I own an MVP version 1 it's a good mod, and is my backup. Are you looking for more battery life? Or something with replaceable batteries? After you get a few posts under your belt (I think it's 5) check out this part of the forum APV Discussion you can read up on the various types of mods out there :)

I know! It's a little overwhelming since there's so many of them. I don't really have a preference in terms of battery. I know some you have to take out and charge the battery, but some like the iTaste VV the battery is built in.

I'm using an SVD, and I love it. It offers a very consistent vape, and it hasn't let me down. I'm planning on upgrading soon as well though because I want something smaller. The SVD is one of the longest mods out there in 650 mode, but it's still a very good one.

Yeah I was looking at the SVDs, just wanted some honest opinions from people. When I go to the eCig store I just feel like they're trying to make a sale, and even some reviews you read are fake and produced by the brand.

Thanks for the fast responses

What do you mean by 650 mode? I tried googling it, but couldn't find a very good explanation

When you find something you like make sure you do comparison shopping. Prices vary by vendor. Also check to see if a vendor's offering a coupon. You can go to the top of ECF and click on coupons and put the vendor's name in to see if they are offering a discount.....or you can always Google the vendor's name and put coupon behind it.

Good Luck to You.

I've heard some good things and some bad about the SVD. Was seriously thinking about buying, but decided to get an MVP. Also I didn't really want to buy a tube mod unless it was a ProVari. Which is what I use now. Do your research, if something looks good spend sometime reading good and bad reviews. If you keep seeing threads popping up on various forums, and what not about a reoccurring problem....you may want to stay away from that product.

Honest down home review of the MVP.... it's awesome! I still keep mine as a backup (after 5 months of abuse), and my wife still uses hers as her go to. You will not beat it for battery life, simplicity, dependability (at or anywhere near its price point).

Other than the fact that it's a block, there is nothing bad to say except it has a built in battery. Who knows how long it will last, but for 50 bucks you kinda need to be realistic. The ones we own have been work horses day in and day out for a long time now.

Maybe I'm bias but I think everyone should have one. A bit of advice though, you can save around 20 bucks ordering one online.

MVP2 is really good for the money, as all the prior posters have said. If your looking into Genesis/Kayfun style toppers, the MVP2 would look just a little bit silly. Besides that though, it is very good. I owned one for a short period of time. I bought it as a second device to compliment my Provari, but gave it to a coworker (the MVP2) as a Xmas present because I wasn't fully satisfied with it compared to the Provari.

Please please please do not turn this into another MVP2 V. Provari thread, there's plenty of that out there. They are both great devices. I just had a personal preference toward the Provari.

I scored my MVP2 on eBay for something like $42 bucks

Gonna be in the MVP 2 camp here I've had a few egos and liked them but the build quality and durability combined with the VV and VW of the MVP 2 make it just plain awesome! Great battery life plus you can use it to charge your phone-lol. Plain and simply live this thing, combined with a good a tank and you'll get 2-3 days out of a charge, and I'm a heavy vaper.
