I know e-juice isn't too good for you if it's ingested, but, I recently got a CE4 and a few days after, the mouthpiece cracked and every so often I get a taste of e-juice. It makes my chest hurt with odd sharp pains and my throat seems to feel a little swollen. This is when I use the CE4. If I use the tanks that the eGo-c uses, it isn't quite as bad. Since the eGo tanks don't really cause an issue and I don't think it's an issue with PG or VG, which is around a 70/30 mix. My nic level is 16. I am going to try to lower my nic level and see if that helps.

My question is, is it possible that the e-juice is causing chest issues if just a little bit is ingested? I have been to the doctor about 4 months ago and had a Halter monitor attached for 48 hours, and had a general checkup. Everything came back just fine. Of course, this was before I started using the eGo, and not using e-juice at that time, I was just using a "gas station" e-cig with pre filled carts.

I use CE2's which is a Top Coil Carto and I will Occasionaly get a Small drop of e-Liquid in my mouth.

I slight tightness in my throat and usualy a 3 minutes or so bout of Hiccups. Nothing a Big Glass of Water can't cure.

But that is with 30%PG | 70%VG e-Liquid.

If I use any much more than 50% or so PG I start to get that feeling like I'm going to Hiccup Even if I don't get e-Liquid in my mouth. I just don't do well with higher levels of PG.

It could be your mg is a little Too High. Or it could be a Slight Side Effect of PG. Or not drinking enough Water. Or some combination of all three.

I never got hiccups from vaping, however, I think I found my issues. I lowered my nic level down to an 8 from 16. Since then, no chest pains. I also increased my water intake too. Also got a new mouthpiece and I don't get any juice in my mouth anymore. Thanks for the info!

Please don't do what I did once. I picked up, in the dark in front of my computer, my eye drops. Guess what? It wasn't!!

I can safely say I would rather have been kicked in the huevos.

edit, feel free to laugh, I know, I know, better me than you!

Oh wow! That was just flat out bad luck. Sorry to hear that.

Good to hear hrlw817

Using e-Cigarettes is Vastly Different from Smoking. With Smoking, it works the Same for Everyone. Out a Cigarette in your Mouth, Light it, Inhale, Exhale, Repeat. About the Only thing that can go Wrong is Lighting the Wrong End.

But using and e-Cigarette involves Hundreds of Combinations of Variables. And Everyone reacts to these Variables in a Different way. What works for One Person may be a Disaster for Another.

I’m glad you found what works for you.

Because to me, a “Veteran” e-Cigarette user is Not Someone who has a Year of Vaping or 1,000 Posts. It just someone who has figured out what works for them (Sometimes thru Trial and Error – Sometimes from things they Read) and then Logs-On and let’s other know about it.

Good Job.

I got 2 ce4's when I started vaping, and I could not make them stop leaking. Within a week I through them both away when a local vendor sold me a Kanger T2. You can find them at ALTSMOKE., for far less than I paid for my first one. I still have 5 of them, follow the instruction for them and they don't leak. However they are somewhat fragile.
