I better ask a questiin so I dont get shunned off the site already!....scary thought!

Anywhoo why is it that on these cheap plastic tanks that i bougth after a few puffs they get a really bad burnt taste to it?

I know I know I splurged at gas station and bought them cause oh yeah I am addicted to vaping!!....alright!.....shoot me!

But what I really want to know is that the burning of the wick that I am tasting?

Tossed 'em and got a Kanger Pro tank or the little Aspires back when we started vaping, and gave those little ones on to friends/family when they stopped smoking and started this vaping maddness.

and shameless attempt at getting to the 5th post...I like it!*lol*:toast:

Thought I would crack a quick joke on getting into the forum lol :2cool:

but no these tanks are bottom coil tanks I think the reality is that they just suck and are cheap and thats what I get but when e liquid seemingly is the number 1 price factor it just seems like a waste oh well lesson learned

Often times the bottom coil versions have flavor wicks, depending on your liquid, it could be too thick to get through to the coil. You can remove one or more of the flavor wicks to give the liquid a better ability to get to the coil.

that was something that I was looking at also because I have been told and correct me if I am wrong but darker liquid tends to plug up atomizer more than light liquid? In my mind color should have nothing to do with it its all about the viscosity of the liquid is there any good way to lighten up a said liquid to make is more viscous? And I tried to take a few wicks out but it seems that these cheap ones the wicks are about .25 inch long and extremely hard to seperate the wicks and put them back with out blowing your brains out in agrevation

Darker liquids have suspended solids, so yes, that can clog things up and not allow good wicking. You're just talking about taking out the flavor wicks right? The ones on top of the coil, not the wick that goes through it. You could take the flavor wicks out altogether and try it, or replace them, or some of them with new wick material. That may be easier.

well on these cheap tanks I only see one one wick and it is right on top of the coil and well if you take this wick out the entire operation shuts down and nothing works ?? Can I buy wicks and replace these wicks?

Check it out the cheap stuff I got is vapin plus by 21st century smoke really the tanks just look like throw aways

Just checked it out, yeah, appears it's a disposable clearomizer, but if you can take it apart and get at the coil you could replace the wick and dry burn it to get it clean. I'm sure you could get it working, but ultimately, you'd be better off getting something of a little better quality.

Okay yeah cause they sell a 4 pack of atomizers so I know I can get that far into it now if it comes apart so I can see the coil that is a fifferent all together
