Don't know where to ask this, so I am trying here. Why can't I post a pic in the quick reply section to a post? I try sandbox and the pic uploads perfectly--I go to the quick reply section of the post but the pic does not upload--only a text that states, ATTACH......?

What are the steps you're taking to attach a file to a post? Are you attempting to copy the attachment number? Or are you actually attempting to attach a picture using the attachment manager?
I click on "go advanced">attachments>file upload manager>select pic>drag to attachments>select pic>click insert inline>click done>and this is what shows in the quick reply box:View attachment 290757

But now I have a new question--how do I post a pic that is not an attachment--post a pic directly to the quick reply box? I have tried copy and paste but that does not seem to work. Thanks.
THANKS!!!!!!! I was confused because the pic does not show up in the post until you hit reply--I was wanting to see the pic before I hit post quick reply. It's not easy being ......ed but it sure is fun.....
By the way--right now at my house it's 77 deg F, humidity 88%, heat index 86 deg F, wind north 3mph.
Yeah, if you want to check images and other formatting before you do the deed just use the Go Advanced, Preview Post option.
Thanks!!!!!! I did not realise the preview post option was there. Exactly what I needed to know. Completely solved my problem, well not exactly, the mental deficit still exists. Right now--81 deg F outside.
