I noticed that the only the 70's Morris has the really perturbed look with the squinshy eyes. The 80's Morris had a much more open eye look...do I need a life?? And my dd asked when I pick her up...so what did you do today mama, I say clean! oh better do the 10min sweep - quick! shhhh!

Yes! The earlier Morris seemed grumpier/pickier....

That is so sweet. When I lived in England I went out for a walk one evening and there was a hedgehog just sitting in the middle of the road. Even though I lived on a dead-end street I thought I should get it out of the road. I didn't want to touch it because I wasn't sure if it was a baby...... I scooped it up with a sturdy piece of cardboard and placed it in some shrubs. That was my first encounter with one. I see that some people have them as pets!

I was looking on youtube to see if I could verify if this image matched the moving baby hedgehogs. The mouse like head and ears threw me off. Well, I found the vids and yes I think he's real. BUT people are keeping them as pets in little hamster cages. :( Maybe I'm weird but..nevermind. It was disturbing.

HE IS AN ABSOLUTELY ADORABLE LIL CRITTER!!!

Well..he is not in a petting zoo!

True MK! and I did read that they do live alone in the wild..I guess it was just one video. I don't know how well you can read a hedgehog on whether or not it's having as much fun and you think he is. I'm sure many have loving homes. <3

It does look like people keep them as pets. who knew. I looked up the differences between porcupines and hedgehogs. Hedgehogs are smaller and have fewer, shorter quills. Hedgehogs are insectivores, while porcupines are herbivores.

but just to change the pace...a friend sent me the link to this video...

I've seen this vid before and thought it was the cutest thing and was laughing my head off watch those puppies.
