In my old neighborhood they would only remove them if they got past a certain size...or if they ate someones dog.

The fawn is amazing! So beautiful. Love the family shot...guess he's the black ...oh corny I know.

oh no worry, the gators stay close to the water..it's the pygmy rattlers in your weeds. Did I tell ya? I hate Florida's critters. Ugh. I sit outside sometimes...flyin things, crawlin things, jumping...ewwww. Creeps me out.

For example...seeing these everywhere. This is a brown widow and her baby sac...screeeeeeeech. On my grill cover.

Or ice! I HATE ice. Love the Florida critters. ('Course, I don't live there.) Come to think of it, I love just about all critters with the exceptions of spiders and bears. (I was clawed by a bear in Yellowstone. There's no excuse for the arachnophobia.)

Nice little gator Class. He/she is a cutie to me.

I like them...and I love the sandhill cranes that we get ! They are about 4 ft tall ! Beautiful ! They come up to the screen and look in ! (you aren't supposed to feed them...)

OHmagosh.....I just found out from pics that these are hunted....I am truely saddened ....

OH THEY'RE GORGEOUS! I've seen them flying overhead during migration and standing in fields at a distance, but I've never seen one up close in person. Now, why, tell me, WHY would anyone hunt a crane? Ggrrrrr ...

The Florida Sandhill Crane is protected and carried a sttep fine if killed..even by accident! There are around 5,000 left in Florida.
In St. Cloud we had these all over the place..they make quite a racket. I have seen a few near my house in tampa..but I think they much prefer the lake and more rural areas..like out by Classy.
