That's a baby alligator???? Makes for an interesting day doing yard work! I'd be afraid to reach into a bed to pull weeds!

oh no worry, the gators stay close to the water..it's the pygmy rattlers in your weeds. Did I tell ya? I hate Florida's critters. Ugh. I sit outside sometimes...flyin things, crawlin things, jumping...ewwww. Creeps me out.

For example...seeing these everywhere. This is a brown widow and her baby sac...screeeeeeeech. On my grill cover.
I linked it because some may not want to see. Besides didn't want to ugly up our pretty page. :)

I don't mind the critters..as long as it doesn't sleet, snow or flurry!

Or ice! I HATE ice. Love the Florida critters. ('Course, I don't live there.) Come to think of it, I love just about all critters with the exceptions of spiders and bears. (I was clawed by a bear in Yellowstone. There's no excuse for the arachnophobia.)

Nice little gator Class. He/she is a cutie to me.

The Florida Sandhill Crane is protected and carried a sttep fine if killed..even by accident! There are around 5,000 left in Florida.
In St. Cloud we had these all over the place..they make quite a racket. I have seen a few near my house in tampa..but I think they much prefer the lake and more rural areas..like out by Classy.
