That's because they don't have to put us to sleep to clean our teeth, LOL. We don't need bloodwork either. The bloodwork isn't required, but it is recommended. And because we've already seen her through a heart murmer (which thank heaven she outgrew) and pancreatitis (which thank heaven hasn't become chronic, at least not yet), I want to have her blood levels checked before they put her under. It's a darn good thing she's so cute!
I have to have the beasties teeth cleaned too..the fresh breath should be worth it...but darn it's expensive

yes! lol I confess I grew up with dogs and cats, then just dogs and now just cats. But I love them all.
