Yes, It happened to me as well. Palpitations and high heart rate that felt like my whole body was thumping. I started to chain vape 24mg while I had bad leg circulation. I started to drop a few mg every couple of days. I now vape 2-4mg and I'm not having nic fits or anything like I did when I went from 24mg to 4mg too quickly. I also have better gear that can vape 100% VG wich also helped me. Heart and health are good now and my vape experience is much better. I've adjusted nicely to the lower mg. I also started to do cardio and more leg exercises. You should also talk to your DR., to be safe. I guess we all have our own reactions to vaping, good or bad. Hope you find something that works for you.

...some slight night time cramping of my calves so I went from a 50/50 VG/PG to an 80/20 mix and that has cured both. Take care not to over do it.

Just a minor thing: there is a convention that the mix is written PG/VG as it removes misunderstandings/ mistakes / errors from quick reading. So a mix with 20% PG and 80% VG is written 20/80.

Doesn't matter of course, do it any way you like - but these things can help remove misunderstandings. You don't need to place the larger percentage first. Although people do it every which way, conventions can help.

Couple of points:

- Drop to 4mg nic and see if you can vape that without having cravings for a cigarette. I've never heard of anyone having any kind of reaction to nic that low, it would mean you might even need to avoid a large portion of aubergines and ketchup followed by a cup of tea - you're in that sort of ballpark (all those things contain nic). Assuming you are not chain vaping the 4mg in an RBA of course and doing 10ml a day - in that case you better drop to 1mg.

- If you have health problems on this scale then you need to be absolutely sure that the nic content of the refill liquid is what it says on the label. We have seen plenty of instances when it has been anywhere between two and a half times higher, down to half the label strength. You need a nicotine test kit: get one on Ebay for $15 or so.

- Don't combine stimulants such as nic and caffeine. With your health issues you are not normal by any definition and you must be very careful.

- Drink plenty, and remember electrolytes. If you live in a warm area and lose a lot of water by perspiration, you will also be losing salts. This is why some issues of this type may be seen more frequently in summer. Electrolytes = salts, and a wide-spectrum salt replacement is needed, not just table salt. You might have found one of the core issues with magnesium replacement. A balanced electrolyte (multi-salts) replacement includes around 8 salts, not just sodium chloride.

- You may be able to find a wide-spectrum electrolyte replacement or balanced electrolyte replacement at a sports nutritionist. Otherwise:

a. Real organic sea salt such as Geo Organics Atlantic Sea Salt contains in addition to the sodium chloride: magnesium 1.4%, plus calcium and potassium.

b. Or Biosalt from Gilbert's Health Foods, which also has magnesium phosphate, potassium chloride, calcium phosphate, potassium bicarbonate, iron sulphate, potassium iodide, potassium sulphate.

All these are far better for everyday use than plain table salt. Note that a proper balanced electrolyte contains magnesium - so don't buy an el cheapo version that just has sodium and potassium.

Thank you all for advice, I have been feeling great today and have absolutely no symptoms. I'm doing great on 4mg, with the occasional crave of higher MG but all in all bearable. I'm also taking high doses of Magnesium and fish oil. I do want to re-test higher mg ejuice just to find out if it is the culprit, for my peace of mind. Will post back soon

Thanks for the Great information. Yes I'm very religious about taking my vitamins and eating greens plus taking some natures vatilaty calms magnesium very morning mid day and night plus a to. Of water.
I have written on my other thread about not vaping today because I have felt so bad yesterday with so many symptoms of major palps and worst heart arrhythmia's ever followed by tachycardia.
I believe the culprit is the propylene glycol, it is the only one with the side effects of heart arrhythmia's.
I think the magnesium is helping but would be ineffective if my body keeps taking in toxins from the ejuice.
Who knows maybe I have new heart arrhythmia with out vaping. I'm waiting, but so far I'm feeling ok.. A few discomforts in my chest but nothing like it was when vaping. Will keep posting

When I feel better I would like to try 100 percent VG. I don't know the difference though.

Hey bud you say you had heart flutters and palps from propylene glycol?
if this is the case we can conclude that our bodies are reacting to propylene glycol and is indeed the culprit.
Propylene glycol side effects include heart arrhythmia's.
are you vaping VG only now? Did you have any Herat flutters from vaping lower mg with pg and VG or just VG or jut Pg?

Vaping is actually healthy tool and I always enjoy completely. This might be a surprising for me to know that you are feeling anythimia with heart. Because, I have never found problem like this. I suggest you to choose some quality brand vapor.

...nicotine is a stimulant regardless of how it gets in the system, as such there is still the possibility that it could effect the heart muscle if you take in too much

I understand the enjoyment of vaping but I wouldn't go as far to say that vaping is a healthy tool. It is indeed far healthier than saying analog cigarettes. Any foreign chemical you put in your lungs, is not healthy.

I just woke up, feeling better than I have in a long time...the culprit has been suspected, most probably found. Will be mixing my own ejuice .today to finally prove this. I might just quit all together however I'm giving it one more shot with VG.
I smoked for 27 years, and loved it. I go by the model You only live once, and 27 years is enough. If my time to vape is done, he'll I had a good 11 months with it. I'm craving it big time but it's not worth killing me.
Everybody is different and ejuice affects each differently. My friends vape as well and report no symptoms.
Will post my results with 100 percent VG.

Lower your nicotine, drink less coffee, go see your doctor (they'll just have you do like an EKG which is no big deal at all)

I'm at 4mg coming from 18 mg. I have been wearing an ecardio holster for weeks. My Drs are baffled as to what is causing these heart arrhythmia's. ...........Ive had 2 stressed test just to rule out heart disease. I am seeing doctors from UM Jackson , if you live in Miami you know these doctors are the best in the world. I believe I'm in good hands, Thanks for the advice
Ps. I haven't had a cup of coffee in 20 years, but thanks bud

actually the cardiologists here in Houston are the best in the world :p

discuss with your cardiologist perhaps when you go into the office and are on an ECG to vape some PG and see what happens (in a clinical setting while monitored) and you'd know if that's the culprit or not, since you Holter results and inconclusive?

or just leave the PG alone, nicotine is a stimulant (releases norepinephrine) as you know, good luck!! keep us posted. If you're experiencing it, I'm sure others are too. Take care!

I can confirm 1000 percent my symptoms, reactions, arrhythmia's are from vaping any sort of ejuice with nicotine. But I believe, it also has to do with propylene glycol. I have not vaped in 2 days, and I can feel the difference in how my heart and overall Heath, lungs feel...
I feel so good I'm not even going to try and figure out why or what is the actual culprit...
I smoked for 27 and never felt as bad as i did vaping liquid nicotine....
In my very honest opinion, I believe vaping, in general, messes up our hearts.
I can't explain how my chest feels while vaping, but it's not good.
I feel 100 percent confident that my arrhythmia's were due to vaping ejuice...
I loved vaping but I also love how I feel with no nicotine or foreign substance in my lungs.
Even my buddy stopped vaping for a day and can feel the difference. The thing is that we will never really know how we feel until we quit, and I haven't quit for 27 years cigarets to vaping.
Good luck to you all.
