Um, so I um, just spent about 3 hours typing a, um, post.. I clicked preview to check for grammar mistakes and it said "You must log in" I guess it logged me out.. So I logged in. But when I did, it, um, told me something like "You signed in and you werent before so go back and refresh your page then submit again."
I did that, and, it erased everything. I pressed the "Recover saved text" or whetever it is, but that only brings back like 4 words...
... Sorry... but im not sure rather I'm really really mad or if I'm sad.. so I said um a lot..

When logging in, ensure you check the "Remember Me" box. This will prevent you from being logged out when the timer expires.

And if a post grows to a lot of words, then:

- click anywhere in the text box
- click Cntrl+A
- click Cntrl+C
- everything is now in the clipboard (temp save)

Then, if something goes wrong, paste that into a Notepad page FIRST!

...then fix whatever went wrong.

(If you don't paste it somewhere, then when you login, if you copy 'n paste the userID or pass, you lose the post text, as Clipboard only holds 1 item.)

It will really help you a lot if you have a permanent Notepad page ready for any quick notes. That facility needs to be available immediately, not after 10 clicks and 5 minutes looking for it...

- Go to Start >> Programs >> Accessories >> right-click the program entry for Notepad >> select Pin To Taskbar; or select create Shortcut >> create a shortcut on the Desktop (you can also have it on the Taskbar - the menu at the bottom of the screen: >> right-click it and select Pin To Taskbar; and you can also set up a shortcut key such as Cntrl+Alt+Numpad 0 to bring up a Notepad page instantly.

So you can have a Notepad shortcut:
- on the Desktop
- on the Taskbar
- with a keypress of control, alt, and 0 on the numpad (all at once)

Any of those bring up a Notepad page immediately.
You can save the text on it by pressing Cntrl+S and choose a name for the file.
