posting photo's?

Clear your browser cache...do a restart if needed.

done both and neither fixed the issue

I always post elsewhere and link, that way I can do bigger images too. I don't know if their sizes have changed but it used to be ridiculously small before they would accept them.

I just set-up a photobucket for forums and they have an image tag button that makes it super easy.

No trouble posting but...
I'm having problems seeing about half the photos on ECF today using Safari.
Went to the Windows partition on my MBP, loaded up ECF with Firefox, and all is well.

What's up with you today, Safari?!

ETA:
A full Safari restart has fixed the issue. I am an idiot. I constantly forget that I keep a certain window open (and reloaded upon start up) for work.

none of the photo's ANYONE is uploading directly in the forum are showing up, but ones uploaded elsewhere are. SO WEIRD!!

Go to your General Settings and see if the box for show images is checked.

I know strange things happen here on ECF. I could always see videos in posts and watch them. Then one day I could no longer see them on my laptop, but could on my desktop.

Now since the last time ECF was down I can see all videos!

I did not do anything different on my browser, laptop, or ECF.

One time ECF was down it came back and I was no longer invisible. The setting changed.

Hope it works out for you soon!
