Hello,

I'm interested in trying out e-cigs for first time. Right now I smoke about 1/2 to 1 pack a day. Usually Camel Turkish Royals or Camel Menthol Lights since they stopped making the Signature/Exotic Blends which were my preferred choice. I just started working at a place that does not allow for any smoke breaks and if caught trying to sneak off for a smoke I'd likely get fired. Basically, what I'm looking for is an alternative way to get my nicotine fix. It seems that these would be quite handy for long or stressful shifts at work.

There are so many products around that I am a bit overwhelmed. Somehow I stumbled across these forums and SKY's video which led me to looking around a lot more into Vapor King.

Just had a few questions before I place an order (probably in the next couple of days).

How long do the batteries usually last?

How long do the cartomizers last?

How many refills can you get out of a 20ml Nobacco juice?

Does it feel like smoking a real cigarette?

What are some of everyone's favorite flavors? (love dif flavors and varieties)

What are the Manual batteries? Would these be better?

Do all the batteries have to be covered in the V4L logo or can they come in plain solid colors? (would prefer solid black or blue)

If I order a starter kit can I get the 2 batteries in dif colors or do they have to be the same color?

Right now I am thinking of buying the Ultimate Ultimatum, 2 additional 5 packs of cartomizers, a 20 ml vanilla juice, and perhaps a few 6 ml juices to mix with the vanilla. Any suggestions?

Last thing, gotta thank kc0cmp for the videos. They were very informative.

How long do the batteries usually last? i killed my first after 9 hours and i was hitting it pretty diligently but then im not a power hitter eather

How long do the cartomizers last? depending on how hard you hit but all in all ive had each one of mine last me all day

How many refills can you get out of a 20ml Nobacco Juice? havent emptied one yet to many flavers

Does it feel like smoking a real cigarette? a little difference but after a day of it (at least for me) it was really easy for me to not go back to analogs

What are some of everyone's favorite flavors? (love dif flavors and varieties) it actually different for everyone. i like the coffee types and cola (presently getting more fruity ones)

What are the Manual batteries? Would these be better? manuals give you a bigger hit then autos all depends on how much vapor you want really

Do all the batteries have to be covered in the V4L logo or can they come in plain solid colors? (would prefer solid black or blue) i think they all have the vk logo and they really look nice actually. but the lettering is raised so it looks like you can scratch it off if you really wanted to

If I order a starter kit can I get the 2 batteries in dif colors or do they have to be the same color? with these guys its pretty much you ask you recieve

Also, what's up with the FDA and e-cigs? the fda are mean kids that didnt get there allowance from us

and dont feel overwhelmed. once you have a vk in your hand you'll know you decided on the right product. i love my vk

How long do the batteries usually last?
If you are asking about overall longevity, I think they are meant to last 3-6 months, or 300-400 power cycles. If you're asking about time between charges, I usually get 4-6 hours from each. If you're looking at the ultimate ultimatum, you'll get 2 batteries and a PCC, so you'll never be dry.
How long do the cartomizers last?
This varies based on vaping style, but I would say give or take a day

How many refills can you get out of a 20ml Nobacco Juice?
I can usually get 20-25 carts from a 20ml bottle
Does it feel like smoking a real cigarette?
there is a brief period of adjustment, but in no time, you'll forget what an analog cig feels like, so you won't have a basis of comparison.
What are some of everyone's favorite flavors? (love dif flavors and varieties) I'm not sure if you're looking for 'tobacco' flavors or not. For tobacco, I like Camel, Hilton and the new French Pipe. for other flavors, i'd recommend Whiskey, Coconut, Vanilla and RY4.
What are the Manual batteries? Would these be better?
The standard batteries are suction activated, so when you draw from the cart end, it activates the atomizer and you get vapor. The manual batteries have a button that you press in order to activate the atomizer. I think they both have their advanages; The Auto will let you smoke hands free if you're holding it in your mouth, also you can hold it however you feel comfortable and it will activate. The manual battery lets you draw as soft as you like and you will still get great vapor, but you have to hold it so that your finger/thumb is on the button. I have and use both, I think it's a preference thing
Do all the batteries have to be covered in the V4L logo or can they come in plain solid colors? (would prefer solid black or blue)
Originally, I wasn't fond of this either, but it kind of grows on you. with the amount of R&D that Steve has put into modifying the KR808 to his specs, I think a little promotion is the least we can give :) besides, you can barely see the logo from 4-5 feet away.
If I order a starter kit can I get the 2 batteries in dif colors or do they have to be the same color?
The Comments section of the order form is your friend :)

I think that sounds like a great order, althouhg I'm not really versed in mixing juice but I hear that Vanilla flavor mixes well with most flavors, like mint.

KC's videos are great, and HILARIOUS

enjoy your order.

Sorry, one more question.

Does the Vapor King sell by other names? 901, 510, ect? Still kinda overwhelmed by the different types.

The vaporking is the KR808D-1 but I don't think you can get the quality from anyone other than Steve. He is very hands on about quality control and orders parts to his specifications. Not to mention all the goodies he tosses in to keep us smilin! Honestly, this is it! You have found it! Look no further. For ease of use and consistant taste, the VK is the best!

I would definately start out with the 24's because they have a terrific throat hit which will get you over the analogs. The camel flavor is good, but don't be afraid to mix it up with some other flavors like coffee or pineapple. Very yummy and you will be amazed at how easy it is to toss the cigs!

And as symetric said, the VL logo will not bother you at all. In fact on the black and platinum models it is downright attractive! Once you taste this baby, you wouldn't care if it were pink with green and purple logos!

Good luck to you no matter what you end up choosing!

Just to throw in my 2 cents, the batteries for me last about 3-4 hours, and I always keep one on the pcc (which comes with the ultimatum kit) so I'm ready to go.

As for the cartomizers, for me, they last a little longer than the battery. Maybe 5 hours. I vape constantly, so maybe that's the difference? Also, once a cartomizer is refilled, the longevity seems to decrease. So, for me, a new cart lasts about 5 hours, and a refilled one about 4.

I smoke 1 and half to 2 packs a day and I love Camels myself! I am in the process of this, only had my VK for a week now, and if not for a minor setback I would be analog free by now! Myanswers are prob going to be just baout the same as everyone elses but might have a diff spin on them as I am so new myself! So here goes:)
Just had a few questions before I place an order (probably in the next couple of days).

How long do the batteries usually last? I got the same kit as you are thinking about and I havent managed to kill a bat yet!

How long do the cartomizers last? Haven't managed to throughly kill one of those either It may be because I got the same number of carts your talking about ( all differnt flavors ) and kept switching between 4 or 5 differnt ones I did though put a drop or 2 of nobacco juice in one or 2 of them but they never really did compleately die on me yet! I woudl definately say with arround the amount that you curently smoke 1 cart of a good strength would probably last you atleast 1 day

How many refills can you get out of a 20ml Nobacco Juice? Personally I would buy the smaller bottles to get a taste for what you like before you go all heavy into bigger bottles ( everyones taste is different and what you think you might like you really might not once you get a hit of some of the other ones :) )

Does it feel like smoking a real cigarette? Its a tiny bit heavier and feels like a lightweight metal pen except short like a cigarette. Once you put it up to your mouth and take a few vapes it will seem almost natural! It is the closest thing you can imagine coming to actual smoking! you inhail there is a vapor ( very much like smoke) in feel and texture as you breathe in and out. It satisfies your nicotine craving ( it is not quiet as instant as the smoke from an analog but it as your lungs clear up it gets closer and closer also as you find your right strength of vapor.

What are some of everyone's favorite flavors? (love dif flavors and varieties) Coffee cappicino Marlboro

What are the Manual batteries? Would these be better? the manual more closely mimics the inhail draw fo a analog cigarette as you don't have to prim /inhail as long to get it going. Someone new to this prob wouldn't notice the differnce unless they had tried both. I like the auto better for at first because it fells more like smoking as you need to press the button to make it work. I have the manual passthrough though and it does make a nice differnce!

Do all the batteries have to be covered in the V4L logo or can they come in plain solid colors? (would prefer solid black or blue) Steve or Dohsma May have extras of a solid color but to be honest I love mine so much that all though I thought the same thing when I first looked Mine could now be green with floursent pink stripes and I would love it! Its nice when people notice them and ask you about it because you know your helping them from your own experinace!

If I order a starter kit can I get the 2 batteries in dif colors or do they have to be the same color? Yep Steve and Dohsma will take care of you just tell them what you want in the comments section they will switch up carts change pcc case colors diff bats they really go the extra 20 miles!

Right now I am thinking of buying the Ultimate Ultimatum, 2 additional 5 packs of cartomizers, a 20 ml vanilla juice, and perhaps a few 6 ml juices to mix with the vanilla. Any suggestions?
Get an extra cause your friends are gonna want to borrow it ( till theirs come in) :D maybe some diff small botle of jucie to top off the carts your getting in the same or close flavors but that amount should do you for awhile. but you won't want them too you will want another flavor and another and another!
Also, what's up with the FDA and e-cigs?
Its more because it is unregulated and there are no warning labels on them like on cigarettes. Plus it is the internet so that can make for some rather shoddy materials and sales to minors. All of here know the time effort and quality of the V4L crew and know they go the extra 20 miles! Steve works very closely with his suppliers to make sure we only get top notch quaility in everything!
Does the Vapor King sell by other names? 901, 510, ect? Still kinda overwhelmed by the different types. yes it is the KR808D-1 model
These are prettty much top of the line in a 2 piece with the cartomizer
there are other 2 pieces out there but some you still have to fool with the cart and the atomizer and I can't vouch for the quality on any any of those as I don't have experinace with them!
Steve works closely to make sure that even the batts and passthroughs have better wireing and function!
And of course the V4L warenty can definately not be beat!

I agree 24 is great place to start for heavy analog users (maybe16's for lights) I use the wimpy 6mg's for demo's so I dont turn off people with massive throat hits)

Platinum is pretty, got that "bling" look (attracts the ladies like, well, jewelry, platinum mind you, not the silver)

Im lookin to get a platinum xtra long when they are available!

I recommend people try not to bump up their nic levels, reminding them that it is still and addiction, and it may be better toy vape as low a dose as possible, especially considering the fact that your probably going to vape more than you smoked (its just so freakin fun! shhhh- dont tle the FDA)

Wow thanks for all the replies. I'm def sold. Probably wont be able to place an order until Tuesday or Wednesday though. Can't wait to get it. Just wondering how quick the shipping is now heh.

Typically Steve ships the same day you order and the package arrives 2-3 days later. With all the praise that new VK users have been laying down all over the forum (myself included) I would not be surprised if it takes them a bit to get caught up! Regardless, it will be well worth the wait. Steve will have you SMILIN for sure!

I'm tired of waiting for the USPS, Steve needs to get teleporter tech worked out.

Vape me up Stevie!!!! (sounds kind of dirty, no?)
Beam my vape Stevie (ok this one is just stupid)
Make it vape number one (sort of sophisticated sounding)
Explore strange new liquids, and new cartimizations (I like this one)
Boldly vape what noone has vaped before (now we're getting somewhere)
I find other passthroughs fragile (for the klingon in all of us)

I guess this makes me a VeKkie?

All non star trek fans, please excuse the temporary interruption...:D
