So, I got one of these. The length isn't weird, I can still depress the button and put my pinkie on the end, so I can see the light. It seems that the cutoff is about 3 seconds:(. I have a question though, when I turn the battery in my hand, I can hear something loose inside. This is my first manual battery, so I don't know if it is the button or what. Is this normal?

First of all, 3 seconds isn't right - mine are all pretty bang on 5 seconds. I shook mine side to side and nothing loose, but up and down and there is a very very faint clicking noise which could be the button, not sure. I would try recharging and then if the cutoff persists, let Steve know. God only knows how much bouncing around they get while being shipped - USPS isn't famous for careful handling of packages - some of mine are downright mangled! lol So far they have all worked though...

Good luck, and talk to Steve. ;)

Update, I held the button in place and no noise. I guess I could have tried that before:p

What about the 3 second cut off?

I have to admit, I do have one manual battery that is a bit touchy. If I am not pressing it just exactly right, it will cut off. The rest of mine are easy peasy, so I'm not complaining. ;)

Thanks for mentioning this JenJen! I was having a problem with a 3 second cut off on my manual battery so I haven't been using it for a while, but after reading this I really cranked down on the button with no cart on it and it lasted a full 5! Now the thing works right no matter how hard I press it. You fixed my battery JenJen! You rock!

Ahhh shucks!

Actually, most of mine have worked great right off the bat, a few though have had to kind of break in. And one definately makes me work for it lol. I keep that one just as a back up.

That is GREAT, and FYI, next ones will have at least 10 seconds:p

Thank you, JenJen, for answering my question about cart compatability with the extra long battery!

I neglected to include in my question the issue of charger compatability. I have two (push-in) chargers that came with KR808D-1 starter kits from CigEasy. Will they work with the extra long batt?

[And, thinking ahead this time, I know that the manual DSE801 (penstyle) batteries require an adapter to work with the normal (i.e., auto) battery chargers. Is this the case for the manual V4L battery (regular or extra long)? My guess is no (but I'd rather not be surprised ... and frustrated). The 801 chargers are screw in, but the KR808D-1 chargers are push-in.]

Thanks!

Thanks!

It should work just fine. For the vaporking, the USB charger is push in, and the wall charger is screw in.

Thank you both, airpowers and JenJen! Yes, it does help!

[Now, if I can find out what the nicotine levels are for "Low", "Medium", and "High" GreenCig carts (asked in another V4L thread), I'll be all set to place my order. I need something close to 11-12mg.]

I'd imagine Medium would be the strength you're looking for. I would think the strength rating systems wouldn't change too drastically between the VK and GC cartomizers.

Besides, if you just put in your comments when you check out that you aren't sure which ones are around 11-12mg and Steve will hook you up. :)
