I have read many of your veterans posts and watched the videos ,thank you .I am somewhat of a non mechanical person so if I choose a manual e cig and want to use it to step down my analog cigs and eventually quit ,what would be the easiest for me ? ( not counting njoy ? ) as i am also thinking njoy is very expensive on the prefilled cartomizers .I kind of like the pen styles .....Thank you for you help .

My vote would be for the KR808D-1. That's what I tried first and the learning curve is very small.

Depends on your lifestyle and smoking habits really.
How many analogs do you smoke a day, And what type? How much are you on the go? etc, etc.
Most people usually start out with the 808 or 510, both are pretty popular.

About a pack a day of analogs and marlboro 100's .Yes I am on the go alot .Thank you

I can only offer you my limited experience.

I started out with a Joye E-go. Got it at liberty flight along with boge cartomizers. Love it, quit analogs with it. Can't think of one bad thing to say about it. Recently have ordered the tank and this makes it about perfect.

My mother has a KR808 that she got at V4L. She loves that.

Just depends on what you prefer. I personally think you get a better vape from an ego. She prefers the way a KR808 looks and feels in her hand over a better TH.

They are both fairly close in price, both great PV's.

Take a look at the EGO, it has pretty good battery life and can fit anything threaded for the 510. I have the mega & I can go pretty much all day on a charge & with the mega atty & carts I don't have to refill more than once or twice a day, three at most if it's a particularly rough or boring day. I was also a pack a day smoker, marlboro lites.

It's a bit large though..

If you buy a pen-style you will probably only be able to use atomizer and carts and that means frequently topping of the cartridge with juice.

If you get a 510 you can use it with atomizer and carts, or with cartomizers and you have the upgrade path to Ego, a fatter model with much longer battery charge and ability to use harder-hitting low resistance parts.

With KR808D-1 (aka Vapor4Life) - it's a dedicated cartomizer unit - a 2 piece. It has the most prefilled cartomizers. It can also use a DSE901 atomizer and carts (or drip tip if you got manual batteries)

You will be adding juice to cartomizers to gets several days use or more out of each one, whether they are prefilled or blank.

if you want to try a pen style to start, look at DSE801 - it is the most supported pen style for adapters

Most people here use manual batteries. They are more sealed against getting killed by juice leaks because they are not dependent on a drag sensor in the threaded end. They won't turn on accidentally from wind or vibration. And I think they are less work. One woman had TMJ and the autos really bothered her TMJ. With autos your drag controls whether or not it is making vapor.

One note - I think if you go with the penstyle DSE801 you may have to use auto batteries with their PCC if it is like the DSE901 PCC. So research that first. I can't even find the DSE801 PCC - just not as much stuff around as for 510 etc.

Yup 808 or 510 is probably the way to go if you want a pen style. Only problem you'll have is that pen styles have short battery life, and you stated you're on the go a lot. Might want to look into some sort of passthrough if you're in the car a lot, so you can use it while plugged into the cigarette lighter.

You'll want to get a PCC if you go with pen style, so you can recharge on the go.

In retrospect, I'd by a 510 starter kit first....if nothing else, because it seems to have the the most advantages when it comes time to upgrade or change. You can get cartridges (that fit on attomizers) that come prefilled or empty. You can also get cartomizers for it -- so it ends up quite a bit like the one you mentioned. Most of the places (if not all) that sell them also sell e liquid - aka juice. You'll want that no matter what you get as you will want to try refilling your equipment! Buy small quantities and try different flavors.

One of my biggest surprises was what all of the most advertised sites seen to skip over is that you will need to by replacement parts, not just carts or cartos---sometimes pretty quickly, so it can be cool to know there are lots of places on line to get what you need.

If you are more daring and can deall with it not looking like a cig -- get an Ego or Ego Tank type. (They also have different brand names). The batteries really do last hours and that sure comes in handy when out and about alot. They have 510 threading, so most parts can be swapped around.

Just remember, while you might like the thinner pv's now, most vapers find that they quickly get tired of them The battery life is short between charges so (depending on the amount of vaping you do) this can become bothersome.

I thank you all and i think i will go for the 808 ...v4life ...correct ? For ease of use and then I can add different atomizer and carts later correct ? That is when i am ready to learn ?

I really like my 808 and its was easy for me to use and learn how to refill the carts. I was worried about doing everything wrong but it was easy to use.

I agree with the 510 suggestions above. Simply because I tried the mini cigs (blu, volcano, revolver) before I ordered the Titan 510. While the mini cigs are still nice, they have lower battery life and less hit. So the experience is not as satisfying. I still vape my smaller models when I am out of battery life or need to be stealthy- but for the most part I regret the $300 that my husband and I spent on those smaller starter kits.

I am a new vapor and got a regular 510 kit and a ego, the 510 is good for being discreet and the ego is great for when batt life is more important. I love them both.

ok ,saturn now i am confused ..an 808 is not a mini ,correct ? They have xl batteries now and with the car adaptors and pass thrus battery life should not be a problem ? The complete starter kits with chargers i am seeing are around 65-80 not 300.00 .Vapor 4 life ?
