I've been practicing my stealth vape skills and I must say I'm getting pretty good at it. I got some Spearmint in an 80/20 blend so hopefully everyone will think I'm chewing gum. On Friday I'm heading out on my first ever Greyhound bus trip. 18 hours on a bus traveling from Texas to Indiana. I'm sure it's gonna be an experience and I'll probably meet lots of "interesting" folks. Definitely the cheapest way to travel right now. It's only costing me $165 round trip.

LOL... I been doing the same thing lately... hubby has kidney stones so we are in and out of the hospital for pain relief....

I just hold my breath a little and the vapor dissipates.... just looks like I am sucking on it... least that is what I tell the nurses...

"No, really, just sucking on it... see? No vapor.... :)"

Have a great trip!!!! Enjoy the scenery... I always love to travel by road... you see the neatest things along the ways......

Have fun!

I always have a pashmina with me. Looks lovely around my shoulders, but little do people know that if you breathe in, hold it, and exhale into it, there is no vapor! And sometimes I get it and smell little bits of it. Ahh, the memories.

"Ahh, I remember this, caramel cream on the flight to Hobart sitting next to a smelly man"
"Ooh, hopscotch. That was my Perth trip. Great trip, crap movie though"
"Mmm, I think that's custard. That would have been Brisbane, sitting in front of that annoying girl that said "like" all the time".

Seriously. Pashminas. The only way to fly.

When I was OTR my Pickup lost an axle in North Dakota. Friday in front of 4th of July weekend. Nobody's gonna fix it that weekend, and I wanted a used axle. Took the bus back to Colorado. Bus stopped at every little pea burg tween there and home. And to boot, took um 3 weeks to find an axle and get me back on the road. I don't have many fond memories from that trip. Hope yours are better. JMHO

Cheers,

Yep, I hear ya SC. I don't plan on getting off the bus at the in-between stops and I've only got 45 minute turn arounds on my bus changes. Plus I wrote down the number of the local cab company and have already scoped out a hotel on the off chance my bus runs late at a transfer point and I (heaven help me) get stranded overnight.

if i remember right, the last time i was in a bus station, they have a secure area for women and children to stay in while you wait for a transfer, no men are allowed. just be safe and aware of what is going on around you.

hope you have a safe and enjoyable trip.

Very good advice. Especially the part about being aware of what is going on around you.

Be safe.

If anybody starts to give me any trouble I figure I'll just pull out my jessy and start vapeing which will cause them to be so enthralled that they lose any desire to give me a hard time and then I can share all the benefits of vapeing.

Baring that, my hubby says I can talk about nothing more than anyone he has ever met. By the time I'm done they'll be begging the driver to let them off the bus.
