Praise for clearos and a question for fellow Volties

OK, well first, SI, you guys totally rock! vaping away on my new X2 with my favorite absinthe in my new clearo, and I absolutely could not be happier. The flavor is phenomenal, and I am completely sold on clearomizers. I was having a crappy, crappy day, but my vapemail from SI just made everything better

Now, to my question. I bought 2 clearos to try for my absinthe and grape flavors, but I have two other favorite flavors I'm not yet brave enough to put in a clearo because they have shown to be corrosive. So, has anyone tried a root beer or a cinnamon in a Volt clearo? If so, did you have any issues?

I'm working on my shopping cart for at least one more X2 batt and some more clearos, and I'd like to order a clearo each for my root beer and cinnamon liquid. Hoping for some reassurance from those who have used these flavors in the clearos. If it didn't work out for you, I want to know that, too. I promise I am a clearo believer, even if it turns out some of my liquids need to stay with cartos, so please be honest about both good and bad experiences.

Mr. outlaw tested root beer in an X2 clearo with no problems. Just do a youtube search for outlaw vapor to see his videos.

Do not put cinnamon in the clearo. I have JC Marcado (which is clove and cinnimon). A day later is was eched. Did not go any further.
I just put the rest into a carto.

I use a Cinnamon Rolls flavor from VR in SI's clearos. No problems. Many refills, clean, many refills, repeat till it wears out.

I was disappointed when I heard it, but yeah, I keep reading that clearos/tanks do not appreciate cinnamon. The type of plastic can't really handle it.

OK, so root beer's probably fine, but it sounds like I'd be safest sticking with cartos for the cinnamon. The flavor I vape is really intense.

I have been using clearo's with my DIY cinnamon mix for some time now. My mix is about 12% cinnamon with about 5% menthol. No problems really, and the clearo's lasted about 2 months, and when they finally died, may have not been from the cinnamon. Never noticed any damage to the tanks. Cleaned occasionally, but in constant use daily.

However, the cinnamon I use is Cinnamon Red Hots from TFA, other brands might give different results.

The one big disappointment, TFA cherry blossom seemed to melt the drip tips, but didn't touch the tanks themselves. Still threw them out as there was black melted plastic stuck to the side of the tank. Dang it, such a great flavor also. Almost enough to make me want to buy some blank cartos.......

All I can say is that Fire and Ice from vape dudes jacked up one of the tips on my x2. The clearo seemed fine but the tip has noticeable damage.

Thanks for letting me know this. That is the exact cinnamon I'm talking about. Not surprised it caused a problem. That stuff is potent.

Cinnabun (80/20, 24mg) from BlueMist Vaping did not affect my clearo. I like Big Red gum, Big Red Soda, and Cinnabun tasted exact. However, after vaping a full day, it rendered my tongue sandpaper smooth and my tastebuds ruined for a couple days. It took a few refills to cleanse the cinnamon from my clearo.

If that's your thing, go for it!

That is what I replaced by DIY. And one of my favorites. Never had a problem with the Vape Dudes version, although after a while it can make the part of the tip you insert a bit rough.

But, if you ever decide to do your own, such a easy recipe, and cheap.
