SI's X2 Clearo's... any risk of them melting cracking from certain juices?

good picture, thanks for sharing that. Nice to see the plastic is still very clear. I wonder what the material is that can be clear but still not crack from those 'bad' juices.

I'm anxious to see if it really doesn't crack

Thanks, I can't compare the material to the previous because this is my first one but it is solid, there is no give in the plastic, it looks and feels like glass until you tap it against your nail or tooth, that's the only way I could tell it was plastic. I'm on my second fill already and still no leakage at all.

I also liked that I got a clean vape on the very first go with no funny taste. So far this gets top marks from me, I will update if anything goes wrong.

...and how they were able to get the same material in colors. The only other material I thought it might've been was only available in clear.

haha, I think I'm turning into you guys. I think it would bother the HECK out of me if the logo wasn't lined up with the button!

Me too!!!!

Mine should be here tomorrow. I already made up a juice with 10%maraschino cherry and 10% ripe banana. The tpa ripe banana will melt a clear in seconds.

I'm going to fill the new one and an old one at the same time and see what happens. If the new one dosent melt. I will leave the juice in there for 24hours and see the results.

I have confidence in SI, so I don't think it will. If the material is similar to the new vivi nova 2.5, I should be ok, since that combination didn't melt my vivi nova

The new clearos look very nice. I hope the manufacturors have finally gotten all the little buggers out.

I can't figure out what the material could be. It can't be polypropylene, as it is always frosted in appearance.

For those who use the vicious juices that attack plastic, I hope it isn't just a thicker polycarbonate. That might delay any melting, but I'm still paranoid that those juices can leach chemicals from the plastic and into our vapor. :danger:

bad,

I will be testing it when I get mine and post the results. Worst case, it costs me $5 but best case is I have a new device to use my DIY banana split, rootbeer, cinnamon, and cherry cola in.

Imagine said it is a different material, but they wont tell us what it is.

I'm a little late on this, but hey, that's me. :)

Got a couple of the new clearos. Put in some Cherry Blossom which cracked one of my old cartos in 5 minutes. Well, "cracked" isn't the right word. It actually fell apart in pieces. Anyway...the new clearo was just fine with that nasty flavor and all is well.

I was a bit late for the new word contest, but I decided on "fractive"--as in a nicquid that is known to crack clearos. "Cherry Blossom is a very fractive flavor".
