I'll remember that next time I take the zap apart to clean it. I can't believe as much as I have to pull on it, it hasn't broken yet. I like my kir fanis tanks, they look just like the glass on the zap. I've been searching for a place to get more in case something happens to these. Glad you're OK.. I sliced my index finger yesterday on wire when coiling.

I broke the tank on my Short DID about 3 days after I got it. It didn't shatter. It just cracked. Ibtanked has replacement tanks, but they don't fit quite as well as the originals. They are a little loose. At least mine was. A couple wraps of dental floss under the o rings is needed. When I ordered my Standard DID, I also got a MM replacement glass for the Shortie. I figured, as long as I had to pay shipping, I'd get the extra tank at the same time.

I had no problem with the ibtanked tube being loose. It was quite tight in fact. I just wasn't thinking and applied too much pressure trying to get it seated on the base.

Interesting. Mine would turn easily when assembled. I took it back apart and saved the ibtanked tube as a spare, and put the MM replacement one on.

Buzz, if you're feeling brave... take a 1/16 bit and drill out the hole in the did. The vapor is unbelievable and the draw is so smooth compared to the stock hole in my new did. I'm going to leave the air hole alone in it for now because I'm liking the variety and I'm going to play with different resistances in it. The rsst I have coming, they're drilling the hole out to 1.3
