This is... I am so very touched... and grateful... I am truly blessed for I am surrounded by prayers, love, and support.

Thank you everyone... from the bottom of my heart... thank you thank you thank you.

I will always keep your prayers in my heart and my prayers to you for the Lord to keep you and your loved ones safe.

Di... my lil bunny friend... thank you for this prayer thread. You have given me and my family a great gift and I will always treasure it my friend. You make me cry, not with sadness but with love.

Kenny's condition has been upgraded from critical to stable. The first day was touchy with the cardiac arrhythmias. With fluids and electrolytes his color is now better. No longer that deathly gray.

The doctor says that if he remains stable, he can be moved from the ICU to the primary care ward tomorrow. My husband is with him now while I am home catching up on a few things.

The doctor said if we hadn't brought him to the emergency room when we did, Kenny might not be with us now. I thank the Lord that we are a close family and check on each other.

His kidneys are still not functioning like they should, but better and his heart is now stable.

I thank everyone for your prayers and support. Prayers are powerful. The Lord listened to your prayers and for that I will always be grateful and blessed.

Mamu
my dear sweet halo cat

you will be ok now,
we have all sent you our love and our prayers for you, your hubby, and most of all for Kenny,
obviously, the love and prayers are working--

there is only one way from here-- upward my love

this is so strange, it is a carbon copy of my experience with mine.
and you will be OK now, the kidneys will take a few days to a week to come back online,
and he will have little or no muscle strength, the body has overheated and burned all the system up,
but it will come good in time,
mine is 100% again now,
it took, 4 weeks in hospital, and 3 weeks with us here in my hiome, for recouperation, and then 6 months for muscle strength to return to normal.

But Kenny will do fine now, he is on the mend,
I feel it, like dejavue -------

your and your hubby's love will be a great comfort to him now,
he will be fine, I am sure of it.
Just time to mend and rebuild now.
You two need to take care of yourselves as well,
he will need your strength,
but you both must support each other as well.

Love to you all three,
and give Kenny a kiss from me,
and tell him we are all pulling him upward with our love.........

Mamu, watch his feet, and heels, with the inactivity
he may develop bed sores on the heels.....
and a good Vitamin E cream massage of the arms and legs
will help to get those muscles pumping the blood thru and building up strength again.... massage from wrist to shoulders, and from ankles to groin. 2 times a day love.....
those muscles need to be stimulated to get going again.....

love to you, Di ...............

Almighty and Eternal God,
You are the everlasting health of those who believe in You.
Hear us for Your sick servant
for whom we implore the aid of Your tender mercy,
that being restored to bodily health,
he may give thanks to You in Your Church.
Through Christ our Lord.

Dear Jesus,
Divine Physician and Healer of the Sick,
we turn to You in this time of illness.
O dearest Comforter of the Troubled,
alleviate our worry and sorrow with Your gentle love,
and grant us the grace and strength to accept this burden.
Dear God,
we place our worries in Your hands.
We ask that You restore Your servant to health again.
Above all,
grant us the grace to acknowledge Your holy will
and know that whatsoever You do,
You do for the love of us.

Amen

Just an update.

Kenny was moved to the primary care ward yesterday and is doing well. He is very weak, but is improving.

The doctor says if he continues to improve, he may be able to come home by this week end or early next week.

Words simply cannot describe how blessed I feel with the prayers and support shown for my son.

Thank you everyone. You all have been given a very special place in my heart to be treasured forever.
