Having someone else make your coil would be like having someone else rub suntan oil on your wife at the beach.

It's really easy and too much fun to let someone else do it. :)

Dude....... between that and the ...... comparison i'm speechless lol. Really, don't hold back!!

I hate that language is blocked on ECF. Some people think in another language and have to self translate to English. My SHCW is one. I think in swears and have to translate to what you see :).

Held back a lot when I was young. Now I really don't give a flying f o c k. :).

I find them hard to coil but my blind one armed midget sister mommy can whip them out faster than her teeth on Jello shooter night :p

I appologize in advance :D

Alright Alright
I thought some folks would rather just spend a quarter :)
I am new to rba seemed like a good idea to me

I am looking for a new X wife who knows how to do this
If you know of any women who can make these and cook too please have her post pictures of her wicks here.

Thanks :)

I am glad you posted Larry. For some it might be what they need to jump into RBA's. For others they could be a blessing.

Thank you so much for sharing!

Not everyone is lucky enough to have a blind one armed midget sister mommy who can whip them out faster than her teeth on Jello shooter night. :) I envy you and hope you never have to suffer from crippling arthritis. When it acts up it can be quite painful and make the simple task of tying shoelaces unbearable. :(

Oh great now I feel bad  But if its that hard to build a coil it must be hell trying to thread it or tighten screws etc :(

Nothing to feel bad about. I didn't think you were being insensitive or making fun of me or anyone else. I just wanted no one to feel that buying store bought coils was a bad thing. Your post was a funny way to say its real easy to do. I do have arthritis and if my level of pain was as much as the example I gave all the time I'd eat my 357 colt (thats a joke). The fact with arthritis is that its aggravated and cramps when doing the little things. One reason I don't own metal REOs and order a plunger on my Woodvils. FYI: those pre-made coils do suck.

It is not just arthritis that can impair. Eyesight and shaky hands, or neck problems like I have can make doing the RBA's a real pain. I don't enjoy doing them. It is a tough job. I will keep on with them though. The vape is so much better. Saving some money over regular attys is a plus too.

There's another problem with premade coils. You still have to install them, which can be affected by all the things that affect making them. Additionally, the way the coil will perform for you largely depends on its positioning and what you did with the rest of the wick, in addition to how it was coiled.
Makes me wish I lived somewhat closer to the folks that are having those issues. My coils are far from perfect, but it would only take a few minutes to roll *and install* 5-10 of them for you...
