I hope I am in the right sub-forum, I have a bad habit of not being

I love the information in the “About Us” on the site (nothing artificial, all US ingredients, 100% V/G) add to that the no alcohol in the Absolute line and you had me at “hello”. So what is keeping me from ordering?

I have tried many times, in the past 30 years, to switch from non filtered analogs to filtered only to fail epically. No flavor, no burn (think it is called throat hit), and just too weak. Now I need to quit altogether.

I think I now know what “equipment” to purchase tomorrow, I just need the juice. Knowing Virgin Vapor stock, what would you suggest as a start?

If I need more nicotine or flavor can it be added?

Filterless: Virgin Vapor is great about customizing your e liquid to meet your specific needs...so yes they would increase the flavor if requested and they have multiple options for nicotine levels desired.

What flavors are you leaning towards? Ones that I can recommend that have stronger flavors would be: Butter cream Mint, Rt Beer Float, Kona Coffee Milkshake, Snakebite, and if interested in floral types: Bed of Roses. Also if you are just coming off of analogs-you may want to try Best Damn tobacco. Good luck!!

These are the liquids I have saved for consideration, most just caught my eye while others are flavors I enjoy in read foods.

Bananas Foster
Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough
Darjeeling Sweet Tea
Lemon Chiffon
Strawberry Shortcake
Peanut Butter Banana Sandwich
Mint Chocolate Chip
Pineapple Party Animal

added
Best Damn Tobacco but Butter Cream Mint is not alcohol free, not that I understand the difference but I quit drinking 24 years ago.

Thank you for your suggestions, any ideas to narrow list a little more?

Filterless: Its funny-I have tried over 50 of VV flavors yet you managed to pick mostly ones I haven't tried!! LOL I have tried Strawberry shortcake a long time ago...It was good but I seem to remember I preferred the Strawberry Granita slightly over the shortcake....this is one that just got better and better with steeping!
Pineapple Party Animal...This has a slight rum flavor to me....and improved with steeping as well. The others I have not tried.
As far as the alcohol, I believe that the Virgin Line may contain an organic ethyl alcohol base. If you want to ensure that they are alcohol free, then you should order from the Absolute line. I hope this helps!

Right now anything helps LOL. I just do not want to toss down 100 bucks and get nothing out of it. I am sure I will find many that will end up in the trade forum but I really want to quit these killers. Right now I guess I will just have to order 4 or 5 and hope for the best, everyone will be different when it comes to taste. Told to get a BCD so trying to find one that works best with 100% VG then I will place my orders. Thanks for your help.

hmmm. I was looking at those as well but the eVod and Protank take the same coil and the reviews on the Protank II are all but iffy with VG. Starting to think drippers, but I hate the idea of shoving my juice through the bottom of it and screwing it to a battery.

LOL one day I will look back on this and ask how I could be so dumb LOL. you have been a great help and I hate to keep bothering you with endless questions. I just want to get my order in before shipments go out for the weekend. Thanks for your help here. will remove the Davide from my list and add the eVod. So many choices for 50/50 so few for 100%.

Anyway, thanks again for your input, it has been helpful.

Hey there and welcome! This is Kitty, and I work in customer service at VV. I was a devoted customer for about a year before I went to work for Annette, so I've been through a few flavors. Not all of them, but many. :)

First off, yes, get the Evod! :D

In the original line, there is a small amount of organic ethyl alcohol in the flavoring base. Usually, evaporation of the residual alcohol can be achieved by letting the bottles "breathe" overnight by uncapping them. As Angie said, if you want to avoid the ethyl alcohol altogether, stick with the flavors in the Absolute line. BEWARE: There IS a small amount of organic ethyl alcohol added to the Absolute tobacco flavors, so if you decide to avoid the alcohol, be aware of its presence in the tobacco flavors.

If I had to choose 3 from your list, I would choose the Peanut Butter Banana Sandwich, Lemon Chiffon, and I would swap out the Strawberry Shortcake for Angie's suggestion, the Strawberry Granita. You could order those three in an Absolute sampler pack if you just want to test the waters as far as flavor is concerned. NEVER EVER EVER order a "big bottle" (1 ounce at VV, 30 ml at others') of something you haven't tried. Well, you can, but oh how I wish I had all those $$$ back I spent on big bottles when I first started! I bought them certain I would like them based on others' rave reviews. Costly mistake. :) But of course I totally expect that you will fall in love with your VV flavors, and you will be writing in at all hours of the night to request bigger sizes.

Now, if you decide that the small amount of alcohol is not troublesome, I would recommend the Kona Coffee Milkshake, Creme Caramel, and Vanilla Blackberry Swirl or Black Cherry Marshmallow. And Butter Cream Mint. :D Oops we don't make a four-flavor sampler. :D These are among our consistently best-selling items for a reason. :) I have never tried the Darjeeling Sweet Tea, and I personally don't care very much for the Mint Chocolate Chip or the Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough, but that's just me. For chocolate, I would recommend our Death by Chocolate...super yum!

Remember, the samplers come only in 12 mg, 100VG and are not customizable. All other sizes are customizable in that you can choose your nicotine level (and the higher the nic, the better the throat hit), and between 100VG or a 50/50 blend. We are happy to add extra flavor at your request, just leave a note for us in the comment box of the order form, but we gently suggest trying our "regular" formulation first. We kindly ask for a couple of extra days' lead time for customized orders, including extra flavor.

How long have you been smoking? How much do you smoke a day? If you have been a heavy smoker, my guess would be you'll need 18 mg to keep your nic cravings at bay. (It delivers a better throat hit, too.)

OK I'm SURE I left something out! Let me know if you have any questions or need clarification, I'll be hanging around the forum for a couple hours this evening. :)

And thank you, Angiebubs and Woodsman for so cordially helping our guest. Remember when we were newbies? :D

WOW that is great information.

Been smoking little over a pack a day for over 30 years and only filter less cigarettes. I have tried many times to quit or to even go to filtered and just did not get the burn and taste I needed to achieve it.
As for nic level, no idea but I will tell you the truth. I am possibly the easiest going person I know, love everyone, but everyone that was around me when I tried to quit the last time will likely be installing bars on their windows and buying tasers for personal protection. I am NOT a nice guy without my smokes. So without knowing for sure, I do not think the 12mg option would be a safe option for those around me.

Knowing me better now, and not caring what "line" the options come from, what would you "think" to be the better choices to start with? I know everyone is different, just looking for a starting point. As for the clearo, the eVod is added to my list of must have items :)

Filterless I would recommend any of the VV flavors. Some are great and some only good (to me anyway). They all taste somehow pure and clean to me. They are thinned down so they work well in almost any device. I like snakebite, strawberry granite and creamed caramel the best. I like how none of their flavors taste fake or over sweet. I find some need to be steeped a week or more with the cap off for best results.

If you are willing to fiddle around a little bit,- to get a hit like you are used to you might consider spending the money on something like a mechanical mod and a RBA. Sub ohm coils produce huge cigar-like hits. They are a bit big and bulky but they work really good. I smoked reds for almost 30 years and quit almost overnight without really missing the stinkys at all. Almost 2 years now.

Looking very closely at those, the Nimbus and Ithaka have been placed in a "second order" folder in my bookmark library along with a Coolfire 1, but I have to make sure this is right for me before I really start dumping the bank out LOL

I really do have mad respect for drpepperdude and his vaping skills, and we all want you to find what works for you. I don't have his skills in the areas of mods, RBAs, etc so I humbly defer to his experience on the matter of the equipment!

Based on your smoking history, samplers at 12 mg are not going to cut it for you (imo). I would recommend you start at 18 mg at least, maybe even 24 mg. The nicotine at that level, with the right equipment, is going to provide the throat hit and a bit of harshness/burn (kind of like one expects with an analog!).

Maybe pick up a couple of the 1/4 oz bottles of the original line, and a couple 1/2 oz sizes of the Absolute line, and order at least 18 mg or mix and match between 18 mg and 24 mg. You probably have a good idea of what flavors you'd like to try, and drpepperdude was also spot on with his advice in that regard too, all of our flavors are clean and pure tasting. Are you committed to 100%VG or are you open to a 50/50 blend? If you're open to it, order one or two bottles with 50/50 and a couple at 100VG.

I can't wait to find out what you finally decide!

You asked for it LOL...
Juices are all 24mg but I did not worry about what line, will contend with that later. (fail, I forgot Snakebite and Strawberry Granita. Got to remember them for next order.)

Organic Best Damn Tobacco
Organic Butter Cream Mint
Organic Caramel Kona Milkshake
Organic Lemon Chiffon
Organic Peanut Butter Banana Sandwich

Guess I broke the rules for noobs on this one... I went with...

K100 (Empire clone) MOD
2x HH.357 with 1.5ohm coils
18650 extension tube
Sigelei kick
Efest LUC charger
2x Efest IMR 18650 batteries
2x Kanger EVOD
5x EVOD head 1.8 ohm
1x IGO-W
2in1 Ohm and voltage meter

if I missed anything please let me know. Had to get this from about 5 different suppliers so nothing will come at the same time anyway.

I know you said 18mg or 24mg, but I think 24mg might be the key, if not I can fast track some 12mg to dilute it with (I think).

Thanks for all your help...

*** thedrpepperdude, see you in the mod section making sure I don’t blow myself up.:toast:

wow, nice haul. You will have so much fun playing with all the new possibilities and combinations, I bet you forget all about the ciggs.

I keep an old, open pack of little cigars for just in case. If I ever want to smoke they are right there, but I am sure so nasty that I would never dare. I guess it is a way to trick myself into never smoking again.

Be sure to lock the fire button if you put mod in pocket. You don't want a pocket misfire. Ask me how I know this one. The only thing you might want to add is an extra battery, the short skinny kind, like a cheap ego or something like that for backup.

Oh and kittypie, you flatter me. Much love out to all of VV. You make the world a better place by keeping so many of us smoke free. Thank You
