pre steeping idea any suggestions?

Ok i was told alot of people make there mixes without nicjuice then toss em in warm water to "presteep" then add the juice and steep.Decided to use this idea but went a slightly different route i bought a candle warmer a glass jar and some aquarium rocks. What i plan on doing is using the warmer to keep the glass jar full of water (and rocks to keep the bottoms of bottles from touching the hottest surface and to keep them in place and the lids out of the water) warm this way i can have them in there for hours at a stable warm temp. My main question is is this over doing it or even necessary?

I'd give it a try, definitely! Might give it a couple of hours of soup-warm simmering.

I have a coffee cup warmer . . . somewhere . . . and I'd try putting a mug of water on it and drop the juice bottle in. If I could find the dadgum warmer!

Another option is to put your DIY mix in a smaller container, like a cart. The smaller amount the quicker it will meld together. I've found that overnight is plenty of time if it's a very small amount. At least you can test it and have an idea if it's where you want it to be. So you can figure a 30ml bottle will take longer than a 1ml cart to blend. Just shake it good first but not to where you see tiny bubbles because that can actually destroy the flavor molecules. A new method that works great for me. well one day i left my juice in the car and its already in the high 80's here. I came out of my doctors office about 90mins later and I couldn't believe my eyes the color of my juice was different. It was awsome. It has worked on most flavors for me. Give it a try.

I've also had my juices change color but i dont know if it was due to the heat, or sun exposure. I had mixed up one juice that was hot pink..stayed hot pink for days till i took it out in the sun and the pink faded very quickly leaving an orange-ish mixture. Still tasted great tho

Yep me too the first juice i did this with was watermellon-bubblegum. it also turned orange but it tasted great.
mine were in the center console so i don't think it was the sun

Update on the color change, i just had a pink juice change to orange under the floresent lights in my kitchen LOL.
