My cat is going through his springtime "let me out of this house!" phase right now. He walks around crying... no, wait... make that wailing, non-stop. He is sooooooo loud. I can literally go outside my place, walk up a flight of stairs and get almost to the parking lot and still hear him.

Some people walk their cats on leashes, just like dogs..
Funny you say that. I thought I had put a collar in my cart last weekend when I was shopping but it was not there when I got home. 
Oy. I am too young to be this senile already. But I am planning on getting him a collar and a leash so I can start walking him.

You train them on leash like you would a dog too...bring some kitty treats in your pocket and hold them in front of their nose while you walk a few steps and so on until they get the idea...most learn quick what you want them to do.
He's a fast learner too. I already taught him to sit. 
He loves turkey coldcuts. That's what I give him for his treat.
